DLN Roundup: Big win for Rustin tennis; Lawrence takes over area scoring lead in boys lax

West Chester Rustin 5, Downingtown West  2 >> Griffin Wisser and Abishek Naik rallied from losing the first set to emerge victorious in No. 4 doubles as the Golden Knights (9-3, 10-5) defeated the Whippets.
Wisser and Naik won 3-6, 6-1, 6-2. Dylan McKay won No. 3 singles for West in three sets.

West Chester East 7, Octorara 0 >> Will Delaney, Andrew Fleming and Gavin Bond each won in straight sets as the Vikings (9-3, 11-5) defeated the Braves.
Delaney won 6-0, 6-0.

West Chester Henderson 4, Great Valley 3 >> With the score deadlocked at 3-3, the Warriors’ Kiran Seani edged the Patriots’ Ryan Hamel at No. 2 singles in three sets to give Henderson the narrow victory. Henderson improves to 10-2. Great Valley falls to 6-6.

Unionville 14, Exeter 10 >> Zach Lawrence had six goals as the Indians (6-5) defeated the Eagles in a nonleague game.
Lawrence leads the area with 36 goals this season.
Will Ciccarelli added four goals for Unionville while Drew Lenkaitis and Jack Hoopman added two.

Collegium Charter 15, Perkiomen School 12  >> Jillian Schlenner scored seven times to help lead Collegium to a come from behind win in the Independent School League. Akina Wollie added four goals and Hannah Baer and Alison Acela each chipped in two for Collegium (4-1, 5-3 overall).

Bishop Shanahan 21, Cardinal O’Hara 3  >> Kelsi Trevisan had three goals as the Eagles (7-4) defeated Cardinal O’Hara in the nonleague matchup.
Tara Morrissey had a goal and eight assists in the win. Kenzie Staska had three goals.
