Tara Morrissey scored with 1.8 seconds left to give Bishop Shanahan an 8-7 victory over Downingtown West in a Ches-Mont League girls lacrosse contest Tuesday.
The goal was Morrissey’s only one of the evening. Alyssa Manley led the Eagles (4-3) with three goals and Mary Theresa Corcoran had two.
Peyton Mottice netted three goals and Tabitha Rodriguez two for the Whippets (1-5). MacKenzie Miller was outstanding in goal with 17 saves.

Vicky Gallivan scored four times for the Blue Demons (3-3).

Barretta clinched her 3rd straight 50-goal seaosn for East and has 52 for the year and 179 for her career. Livi Lawton added four goals for East. Courtney Taylor had four goals for the Red Devils (3-4) as they dropped the Ches-Mont contest. Morgan Whiteside, Abby Matz, Jessie Richardson and Olivia Plankinton had two goals each.
CONESTOGA 17, HAVERFORD HIGH 13 >> Sondra Dickey had five goals and an assist as the Pioneers improved to 11-0 with the Central League victory. Monica Borzillo added four goals and five assists and Hannah Ashton had three goals.
