Hat tricks by Crager, Zanolli lead Episcopal

Episcopal Academy used a seven-goal second half to battle past St. Ignatius Prep of California, 12-9, at the St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School’s Spring Fling in Alexandria, Va.

Katie Crager had three goals and two assists while Corinne Zanolli also had a hat trick to lead the Churchwomen. Sydney Gagnon recorded six saves in the victory.

Academy Park 11, Conwell-Egan 4 >> Dakota Street pumped in four goals and Terae Mason came up with 14 saves as the Knights (1-2) pulled away in the second half for their first win of the season. Chantal Farmer, Cheyanne Farmer and Zyah Newsome added two goals apiece for AP.

Boys Lacrosse

Christian Feliziani went 10-for-12 on faceoffs, but Episcopal Academy couldn’t keep pace with Maryland’s McDonogh School in a 10-3 setback.

Brandon Kopen, Dan Baker and Matt Blommer scored for EA.
