Reporter/Times Hearld Basketball Roundup: Stover scores 28, Upper Dublin boys best Wissahickon

BOYS BASKETBALL

Upper Dublin 52, Wissahickon 41 >> Drew Stover balanced out his scoring, collecting eight points in the first, third and fourth quarters to finish with a game-high 28 points as Upper Dublin picked up an SOL Liberty Division win in its first road game of the season.

Colin O’Sullivan added 13 points for the Cardinals (4-1, 2-1 division), who led 24-16 at halftime before outscoring Wissahickon 12-9 in the third to go into the fourth up 11.

Matt Campos paced the Trojans with 21 points, 10 coming in the fourth. Jackson Intrieri knocked down four 3-pointers in scoring 14 points as Wiss (4-2 2-1) dropped its second straight.

Central Bucks East 59, Central Bucks West 45 >> Joe Jackman connected on a trio of 3-pointers in posting a game-high 20 points as Central Bucks East stayed unbeaten with an SOL Colonial win.

Jacob Cummiskey chipped in 17 points while Jack Hamilton had 10 rebounds and six points for the Patriots (5-0, 4-0 division), who led 34-22 at halftime then stretched their advantage to 49-32 at the end of the third.

Ted Spratt finished with 19 points to lead CB West (0-5, 0-3).

GIRLS BASKETBALL 

Upper Moreland 37, William Tennent 7 >> Holly Gohl scored nine of her game-high 16 points in the second quarter as Upper Moreland shut out William Tennent 14-0 in the period as the Golden Bears rolled to a SOL Freedom Division win.

Emmy Faith Wood hit a pair of 3-pointers in scoring all 10 of her points in the first quarter for UM (3-1, 2-0 division).
