Methacton 50, Owen J. Roberts 36 >> Mairi Smith had a double-double as part of her solid statistical performance for the Warriors in Wednesday’s Liberty Division win over the Wildcats.

Smith had a team-high 14 points — she was one of three Methacton players to hit double figures, joined by Cassidy Kropp (12 points) and Allie Hazlett (10) — along with 12 rebounds and five blocked shots.

Hazlett narrowly missed a double-double, finishing with nine boards while the Warriors’ defense kept OJR empty in the first quarter.
The loss negated the game-high 24 points Avery White had for Roberts.
