2016-2017 Pa. All-State Girls Basketball Team Announced
The 2016-2017 Pennsylvania Sportswriters All-State teams were announced Saturday morning and the lists had some Southeast Pa. flavor added to it as a bevy of local athletes were honored.
Players of the Year were Pine Richland’s Amanda Kalin (Class 6A), Washington Trinity’s Sierra Kotchman (5A), Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic’s Sam Breen (4A), Neumann-Goretti’s Chyna Nixon (3A), Bishop McCort’s Haley Thomas (2A) and Lebanon Catholic’s Alexis Hill (1A).
