Barlee leads the way as Episcopal rolls in opener

The long bus ride to Wyoming Seminary was not a problem for Episcopal Academy Friday night. The Churchmen wasted no time dominating on the scoreboard.

CJ McAnally took the game’s opening kick 90 yards to the end zone as Episcopal scored four first-quarter touchdowns en route to a 48-7 shellacking of the host Crusaders.

All-Delco running back Dee Barlee rushed for three touchdowns for the Churchmen, who took a 34-7 advantage into halftime.

Jon’avin Freeman threw for a pair of touchdown passes and Jake Martilucci had a pick-6 in the fourth quarter to close out an impressive Week 1 performance by Episcopal.
