Highlights: Pottsgrove started off the regular season with a 10-2 non-league win against Tulpehocken High School at Falcon Field on Saturday morning. Pottsgrove’s goals were scored by Alli Hakes (4), Mailei Schechterly (2), Cece Burg (1), Charissa Yerger (2) and Avery Steube (1). By spacing the field effectively, Pottsgrove was able to generate 7 assists by Burg (3), Yerger (1), Hakes (1), Schechterly (1) and Ava Sibley (1). Goalies Tonya Stone (3) and Lily Guerrette (8) swapped quarters to tally a total of 11 saves for Pottsgrove. Dom Parkinson also supplied two acrobatic defensive saves to keep Tulpehocken out of the goal in the second half.
