Elizabeth McLaughlin started her 2015 season off in a big way. The junior had one goal and assisted on two others to pace the Owls in the season opener for both teams.

McLaughlin tallied the first goal, off an assist from Nikki Bass, and then fed Emily Franz on a pair of goals that staked Sacred Heart to a 3-0 league. Danielle Santora added one goal and one assist, while Coleen Visser stopped five shots for the shutout.

Cammy Shay made 10 saves in goal for Springfield.
