Field Hockey
North Penn 6, CR North 1: Erica Pickford and Grace McGeehan each scored twice as the Knights (5-4) rolled in the SOL crossover win on Wednesday. Catherine McGeehan and Jillian DelGiorno also scored for NP. Kiley Moister made five saves in net.
“The Knights had excellent passing sequences and made the most of their offensive opportunities today at visiting Council Rock North,” NP Head Coach Shannon McCracken said. “Transitions from defense to offense were key today and center back Melissa Sessler and center midfielder Caleigh Sperling did a great job of distributing the ball well. It was a true team effort for North Penn by maintaining possession and communicating well.”

Wissahickon 13, Cheltenham 0: Kayla Mullin and Riley Ball each scored four goals as the Trojans rolled to the SOL crossover win on Wednesday. Ella Hummel, Caroline Kirkpatrick, Kayla Pak, Audrey Walsh and Avery Mullin also scored for Wiss. Walsh led the way with three assists, while Ball added two.

Methacton 2, Upper Perkiomen 1: Ceci Rehak scored two-first half goals as the Warriors held on in PAC crossover action on Wednesday. Avery Schwartz and Carmela Maro picked up assists, while goalie Emily and Natalie Drake combined on eight saves.

Archbishop Carroll 18, Little Flower 0: Sienna Golden led the way with seven goals as the Patriots reamined undefeated in PCL play on Wednesday. Laura Wineburg, Cate McConaghy and Megan Sheridan each added two goals. McConaghy also had three assists.

Springfield Twp. 3, Hatboro-Horsham 1: The Spartans jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first half and held on for the win on Wednesday night. Scoring for Springfield were Natalie Ritter, Noran Conlin and Emma Yoder. Rittler and Hailey Lesniak added assists. Madelyn Gregory scored in the fourth quarter for the Hatters. Grace Bell and Kennedy Braddock combined for six saves in net for the Spartans.

Girls Soccer
Villa Joseph Marie 2, Gwynedd Mercy 1: Kat Pluck scored for the Monarchs to draw even, but they fell short in overtime on Wednesday. Bella Clark scored the gamewinner for Villa Joseph Marie. Ellie Verrill made six saves in net for GMA.

Pope John Paul II 1, Upper Merion 1: Junior Cameron Schuler scored for the Golden Panthers as the two PAC Frontier squads battled to a tie on Wednesday. Jennifer Todd added an assist for the Golden Panthers.

Boys Soccer
Boyertown 5, Methacton 4 (OT): The Warriors rallied from a 4-2 second-half deficit, but fell in overtime. Zach Willen led Methacton with two goals, while Brayden Ahlum also tallied a goal and two assists for the Warriors. Wyatt Stemler made six saves in net for the Warriors.

Girls Golf
Spring-Ford 154, Methacton 200: Kate Thomas led the Warriors with a 44, but they dropped the match on Wednesdsay. Nicole Yun led the Rams with a 37.

Phoexnixville 174, Hatboro-Horsham 198: Sammy Fuchs carded a 47 at Turtle Creek but the Hatters dropped the match on Wednesday. Mina Cho added a 48 for Hatboro-Horsham, while Kaley Roberts carded a 34 to lead the Phantoms.

Girls Tennis
Wissahickon 5, Radnor 2: Nicolette Agassi survived a three-setter 7-6 (6), 4-6, and 10-4 as the Trojans outlasted Radnor in nonconference play on Wednesday. YiYi Huang also pulled out a three-setter at No. 1 singles for Wiss, winning 2-6, 6-3, 6-3.

Girls Cross Country
Methacton 24, Boyertown 31: Catherine Koran (21:09) and Molly Thomas (21:39) went 1-2 as the Warriors (2-1) picked up the win at Heebner Park on Wednesday. Bipasha Moktan added a fifth-place finish in 22:32, while Juliana Trigone was 7th in 22:45.

Pope John Paul II 22, Upper Merion 35: Mary Kate Zollers took first place in 21:53 as the Golden Panthers got the win on Wednesday. Grace Johnson was third for PJP in 23:21, while Ava McNicholas took fifth in 24:11 and Marisa Sala was sixth in 24:53.

Boys Cross Country
Upper Merion 25, PJP II 30: Charles Hefland crossed the finish line first for the Vikings in 18:47, while teammate Mark Drayton was close behind in 3rd place in 18:59. Anthony Tornambe added a fifth-place finish in 19:07, while Dante Churchville was sixth in 19:10. Oscar Luna paced PJP II with a second-place finish in 18:50.

Girls Volleyball
Upper Merion 3, Owen J. Roberts 1: Sophia Schweikert had 23 kills and 17 digs to lead the Vikings past OJR in four sets by scores of 25-22, 24-26, 25-14 and 26-24. Yalerie Acevado also had a double-double with her 12 kills and 15 digs for Upper Merion (9-1). Caitlyn Daywalt had a double-double of her own by having 13 service points to go with her 34 assists. Raven Albrecht added 8 digs along with her 11 service points (4 aces). Julia Giammarco chipped in with 10 digs and passed 20 serves with only 1 error.

Pope John Paul II 3, Upper Perk 0: The Golden Panthers swept to the PAC Frontier win on Wednesday by scores of 25-11, 25-8 and 25-8. Ashley Mitchell and Jill Cobaugh led the way with seven kills apiece, wihle Reece Benner added 15 service points and 22 assists. Gabriella Manza added 15 digs for PJP.

Methacton 3, Boyertown 2: The Warriors pulled out a five-setter by scores of 25-18, 25-15, 22-25, 12-25 and 15-7 in PAC Liberty action on Wednesday night. Mandy Baldwin led Methacton with 15 kills and 14 digs, while Kayla Ginther added 15 digs and seven aces. Mianna Ly also added 14 digs for Methacton (8-3, 4-3).
