Field Hockey
North Penn 5, CB South 0: Laura Albert collected a hat trick and Grace McGeehan added two assists as the Knights (2-1) won big in SOL Colonial play on Thursday. Caleigh Sperling added a goal and an assist for North Penn. The Knights are at Methacton on Saturday.

Springfield Twp. 1, Lower Moreland 0: Angela Eder scored the lone goal of the game in a SOL Freedom thriller on Thursday. Emily Jackson and Emma Yoder were solid for the Spartans, helping to hold LM shotless on the day.

Wissahickon 6, Abington 1: Riley Ball collected a hat trick as the Trojans collected the SOL Liberty win on Thursday. Sophia Havrilla set up most of the offense with three assists, while Caroline Kirkpatrick added two goals and Kendall Crowley finished off the scoring. Camryn Stewart scored for Abington. Meredith Walsh and Ava Fell each had four saves for Wissahickon.

PJP II 5, Pottsgrove 0: Cate Mink collected a hat trick and added one assist as the Golden Panthers picked up a PAC Frontier rout on Thursday. Abby Wilmot added two goals for the Golden Panthers. Gi Manza came through with four saves for PJP II.

Girls tennis
Methacton 7, Boyertown 0: The Warriors lost exactly six games in a PAC rout on Thursday. Hana Nouaime, Alice Liang and Lauren Montgomery each won by double-bagels 6-0, 6-0.

Upper Dublin 6, Hatboro-Horsham 1: The Cardinals swept the doubles matches en route to the SOL Liberty win on Thursday. Lily Wu picked up a thriller at No. 1 singles for the Hatters, winning at No. 1 singles in a third-set tiebreak.

Perk Valley 4, PJP II 3: PV swept the singles action and picked up a tight PAC win on Thursday. PJP got solid play from its doubles winning the first three flights, two of which came in three sets. Bailey Finelmeier/Ally Mooney picked up a 6-3, 7-5 win at No. 1 doubles for the Golden Panthers to start the streak.

Wissahickon 7, Abington 0: The Trojans dropped just one set in rolling to the SOL Liberty win on Thursday. YiYi Huang set the tone with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles, while Nicolette Agassi won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.

Golf
PJP II 215, Upper Merion 229: A balanced Golden Panthers attack was too much for the Vikings on Thursday. Jack Brennan paced PJP with a 40, while Adam Profrock added a 41. Alyssa Schuebelled Upper Merion with a 242.

La Salle 217, Cardinal O’Hara 260: Ethan Martin and John Stevenson both shot 1-under-par 34s as the Explorers won going away on Thursday in PCL action. Jackson Fryer added a 36 for La Salle at Paxon Hollow Golf Club.

La Salle wins Holy Ghost President’s Cup Tournament: The Explorers took first on Wednesday, edging out Malvern Prep by three strokes. John Stevenson led the way with a 34, while Tyler Leyden and Kevin Lafond both carded 36s.

Girls soccer
Gwynedd Mercy Academy 8, MaST 0: Riley Morris collected three goals as the Monarchs took a 6-0 lead into the half and coasted to the nonconference win on Thursday. Sabrina Beniquez, Lauren Drakeley, Caroline Drakeley and Keira Cassidy also scored for GMA. Caroline Drakeley set up the offense with three assists. Ellie Verrill made one save in net, while Lynley Koschineg added two saves.

LC 3, Souderton 1: Sophomore Ella Longacre provided the only offense for the Indians in a nonconference loss to the Crusaders on Thursday.

Boys soccer
PJP II 2, Pottsgrove 1: Ben Bosio scored at the 30:28 mark and Ben Rubinich added another at 38:23 as the Golden Panthers picked up the PAC Frontier victory on Thursday. Aidan Gray picked up an assist, while Jason Krum came through with three saves.

Girls volleyball
Abington 3, Upper Dublin 0: The Ghosts improved to 5-0 on the season with a 25-22, 25-21 and 25-19 SOL Liberty win over the Cards on Thursday. Kenya Lucas led the way with 15 kills for Abington, while Shayla Moody added 11 kills. Also for the Ghosts, Sasha Moody added eight kills, while Mary Carter chipped in with 33 assists.

CB East 3, Souderton 1: The Indians took the loss on Thursday by scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-20 and 25-19 in SOL Colonial action. Kay Guessford led the way for Souderton with eight kills, while Alexa Mazeo added two aces, 15 digs and four assists. McKenna Murawski chipped in with five kills and 11 digs, while Grace Boyd added 14 assists and two digs.

PJP II 3, Upper Merion 0: PJP swept UM by scores of 25-17, 25-23 and 25-16 in PAC Frontier action. Hunter Cordrey led the way for the Golden Panthers with 15 kills, while Madison Monahan had 25 assists, 11 digs and won 13 service points. For Upper Merion, Sophia Schweikert was outstanding as she recorded a double-double with 24 kills and 11 digs. Caitlyn Daywalt had 30 assists. Raven Albrecht, Julia Giammarco and Yalerie Acevado combined for 23 digs.
