GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Souderton 3,Wissahickon 0 >> The Indians swept the match on Monday 25-10, 25-3 and 25-18. Alyssa Reiner led the way for the Indians with 7 aces, 6 digs and 11 kills, while Alli Sauerwald had 5 aces, 1 dig and 6 kills. Also for Souderton standing out were Alexa Mazzeo (9 digs, 4 aces), Nikki Hamilton (20 assists, 1 ace, 1 dig) and Kay Guessford (5 kills).

Methacton 3, PJP II 0 >> The Warriors (4-6, 3-2) picked up the PAC win on Friday 25-19, 25-17 and 25-13. Methacton was led by Mel Eglinton with 16 kills, 2 blocks and 4 assists, while Kayla Ginther added 8 kills and Meg Haftl had 33 assists.

Spring-Ford 3, Upper Merion 1 >> The Rams picked up the win in four sets by scores of 11-25, 25-23, 25-17 and 25-14 on Monday. Leading the way for Spring-Ford was Ally Plitnick with 31 assists and 14 digs. The loss breaks the Vikings’ four-match winning streak and drops them to 7-3 (6-2). Sophia Schweikert led Upper Merion with 22 kills and 11 digs, wihle Caitlyn Daywalt had 30 assists. Vanessa Hutchinson keyed the defense with 21 digs, while Julia Giammarco chipped in with 12 digs and 8 kills.

FIELD HOCKEY
Coatesville 4, Pope John Paul II 3 >> Abby Wilmot and Cate Mink each scored a goal and an assist for PJP in a nonconference loss on Monday. Fiona Burke also scored for the Golden Panthers, while Gianna Manza had 15 saves in net.

Springfield Montco 4, Dock Mennonite 1 >> The Spartans took a 3-0 lead after one half and coasted to the nonconference win on Monday. Emma Todder, Stella Nelson, Annie Coll and Abby Congdon provided the scoring for the Spartans. Dock scored in the fourth quarter off a tally from Olivia Zaskoda.

GIRLS SOCCER
Plymouth Whitemarsh 4, Calvary Christian 0 >> Senior captain Fiona Gooneratne kicked the scoring off with two goals on Monday in a nonconference win for the Colonials. Ella Clark added a headed off a Gooneratne corner, while Sophia Carlisle finished the scoring with a nice, first-time finish off a pass from Caelin Kosvitch. Sophomore goalie Caitlyn Dinh earned her second straight shutout behind a strong backline of Liberty Daddonna, Meghan Wendler, Brianna Reynolds, Kate Lukens, Quinn Daley and Emma Vuotto.

GIRLS GOLF
Phoenixville 182, Methacton 196 >> Kate Thomas carded a 38 but the Warriors dropped the PAC contest on Monday.

GIRLS TENNIS
Methacton 6, Downingtown East 1 >> The Warriors won a trio of three-set matches in picking up the nonconference win on Monday. Anika Suresh bounced back from an 0-6 first set to take the match 6-1, 6-4. Angela Lian and Dru O’Brien at No. 2 doubles and the No. 4 pair of Natalia Parientes and Melinda Jin both won third sets as well.

Wissahickon 7, Quakertown 0 >> The Trojans didn’t drop a set in picking up the win on Friday. Ella Chang at No. 1 singles and Saachi Mehta at No. 3 singles didn’t drop a game.

BOYS SOCCER
Souderton 6, Truman 0 >> Nolan Hughes scored two goals, both in the first half, as the Indians won big on Monday. Brandon Fornwall, Ty Quintois and Ben Lare also scored for Souderton. Goalies Aidan McLure, Roman Sigafoos and Chris McKenna combined for the shutout, making four saves.

Dock Mennonite 4, Plumstead Christian 4 >> Cameron LeSeuer scored twice in the first 3:08 of the contest, but the Pioneers settled for the tie in BAL action on Monday. Zach Frederick added a goal on a PK, and picked up an assist on a goal from John O’Donnell. Braden Churches made 13 saves on 17 shots for Dock (3-1-3). Mott Jackson scored at the 67:44 mark for Plumstead to send the game into overtime.
