Quinn Maguire and Tina D’Anjolell accounted for all the scoring as Notre Dame claimed the Inter-Ac League title with a 4-1 victory over two-time defending champion Episcopal Academy.
Maguire scored the first three goals and fed D’Anjolell for the fourth goal. D’Anjolell had the assist on Maguire’s second goal to help the Irish (14-2-1 overall) finish 8-0 in the league.
Caroline Kelly had an outstanding game in goal for the Churchwomen (10-6-1, 6-2). Corrine Zanolli scored on a penalty stroke to spoil the shutout bid in the second half.
