Manheim 2, Boyertown 1
Boyertown field hockey forced an overtime with Manheim, but the latter took a 2-1 win on Saturday. Trailing 1-0, Peyton Shellaway scored the equalizer right before halftime. Sarah Yoder made 11 saves including one on a penalty stroke with under three minutes left in the game.
Methacton 5, North Penn 1
After riding a 3-0 lead into halftime, Methacton field hockey rode out a 5-1 win over North Penn on Saturday. Renee Blake and Nicole Uebele both scored a pair of goals and Lily DeWan added one.
Ceci Rehak made two assists while Elise DeWan and Elena Weychert both had an assist each.Kylie Barwis scored North Penn’s lone goal. Kiera Holt made 14 saves and Methacton had 11 corners to North Penn’s five.
BOYS SOCCER
Wilson 4, Daniel Boone 1
Daniel Boone 0 1 – 1
Wilson 2 2 – 4
Chad Brown scored off an assist from Cameron Henry, but Daniel Boone boys soccer fell, 4-1 to Wilson behind a pair of goals from Carson Peck on Saturday. Nik Rohm and Alex Crouse both added goals for Wilson while Declan Moyer registered two assists. Peck also assisted a goal.
Daniel Boone was outshot 12-5 and both teams took five corners. Tucker Griffin came up with seven saves for Daniel Boone while Tyler Wentzel made five for Wilson.
Owen J. Roberts 3, Spring-Ford 0
Owen J. Roberts boys soccer took a 3-0 win over Spring-Ford behind goals from Ethan Williams and Isaac Stephenson in the second half. Stephenson and Nicky Gambone provided the assists for the Wildcats. Sam Venza assisted Gambone in a first-half goal for Owen J. Roberts, which outshot Spring-Ford 6-4.
