Reporter Boys Lacrosse Roundup: Souderton extends win streak to 5

Cole Witoslawski had four goals and an assist as the Souderton boys lacrosse team extended its win streak to five as the visiting Indians topped Council Rock South in the Suburban One League non-conference contest Wednesday.

Dylan Anderson added a goal and an assist and Matt Rauch had two assists for Souderton (9-2, 3-1 SOL American), which led 4-3 at halftime.

Goalkeeper Axell Beskar made 12 saves while midfielders Fearghas Evanick and Nick Guthrie and long stick midfielder Luke Atiyeh all had strong games for Big Red.

Lansdale Catholic 8, Father Judge 3 >> Jess Brown had a goals and five assists, Connor Mann scored three times and Lansdale Catholic pulled away in the second half to earn a Philadelphia Catholic League victory.

Evan Hannings collected two goals and five ground balls while Ryan Corbett had a goal, two assists and four ground balls for the Crusaders, who outscored Judge 5-1 in the second half. LC goalie Connor Flanagan stopped 13 shots.

Archbishop Wood 7, Archbishop Ryan 5 >> Archbishop Wood had seven different players score a goal as the Vikings held off Archbishop Ryan’s four-quarter charge to earn an PCL victory.

Brian Kinkade collected a goal, four ground balls and won 8-of-13 faceoffs for the Vikings, who held Ryan scoreless before the Raiders scored all five of their goals in the fourth quarter.
