Herko standing tall, but Interboro falls again

Ethan Herko continued his strong play with 18 points, but it wasn’t enough as Interboro fell to Bishop Shanahan, 74-50, in nonleague boys basketball action.

Herko is averaging 17.5 points per game in the last four outings. He’s hit 15 of his 25 3-pointers for the season in that four-game stretch, including another three Monday night.

Albert Pewa added 13 points, and Jared Dellapriscolli checked in with a season-high 10 points for the Bucs (0-16).

In the Bicentennial League:

MaST Charter 50, Delco Christian 42 >> T.J. Tann scored 16 points to go with six rebounds, four assists and four steals, but the Knights were outscored 15-8 in the final quarter in slipping to defeat.

Jordan Parks added 11 points for DC (10-8, 9-6 BAL), which shot just 4-for-12 from the line.

Jenkintown 49, Christian Academy 34 >> Davier Daniels scored 14 points, but a 17-8 deficit after one quarter was too much for the Crusaders (6-11, 3-9) to overcome.
