Dade, Delaney help Episcopal down Malvern in OT

Matt Dade scored 27 points and Conner Delaney added 18, including the game-tying 3-pointer with six seconds left in regulation, as Episcopal Academy topped Malvern Prep, 82-81, in overtime.

Nick Alikakos returned from a nine-game injury absence with eight points for EA (9-9 overall, 2-1 league).

Haverford School 84, Springside Chestnut Hill 54 >> Gavin Burke canned five 3-pointers to score a game-high 19 points, and Christian Ray posted a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds as the Fords won their 10th straight game.

Kharon Randolph added 14 points and eight assists, and Jameer Nelson Jr. chipped in 13 for Haverford (13-1, 3-0).

In the Catholic League:

Archbishop Carroll 50, La Salle 45 >> Eleven was the operative number Friday: Justin Anderson, A.J. Hoggard and Jesse McPherson all scored 11 points to lead the Patriots to a needed league triumph.

Hoggard added six assists, while McPherson augmented his tally with seven rebounds and three blocks for Carroll (10-3, 2-2).

Archbishop Wood 62, Bonner & Prendergast 44 >> Ajiri Johnson scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, but the Friars (11-2, 3-1) lost for the first time in league play.

Christian Lane added nine points, and Dylan Higgins supplied eight.

In the Bicentennial League:

Delco Christian 52, Devon Pep 42 >> T.J. Tann connected on four 3-pointers in accumulating 21 points and 10 rebounds as the Knights coasted.

Obinna Nwobodo added eight points and nine rebounds for the Knights (6-6, 4-4).

Plumstead Christian 47, Christian Academy 32 >> Grant Sareyka led the way with eight points, but the Crusaders (5-8, 3-6) dropped a fourth straight decision, undone by a 12-0 deficit after one quarter.
