For the Perkiomen Valley baseball team, later was definitely better than never.

The Vikings scored all their runs in their final at-bat, benefitting from a couple Wildcat defensive errors in a come-from-behind 3-2 PAC Liberty Division win Wednesday.

Hayden Bailly (2-for-3), Aiden Moffa and Tony DeLawrence singled and AJ Hansen worked a walk to get PV on the board before an error on a Brendan Shayer grounder tied it. Kyle Bohannon’s sacrifice fly scored the winning run.

The rally earned Tyler Strechay the pitching win after his complete game allowing six hits, two earned runs, with six strikeouts.

Jake Iyoob had two hits and three stolen bases to lead OJR and Sam Morris was 2-for-2 with an RBI. Morris threw three-hit shutout ball over the first five innings with six strikeouts but didn’t figure in the decision.
