Perkiomen School 11, Renaissance Ac. 0 >> While two pitchers combined on a two-hit, seven-strikeout shutout, the Panthers’ offense banged out 10 hits to open the Tri-County League playoffs with a “mercy rule” victory over Renaissance Academy.

Christian DelToro had two hits and three RBI – one in the second and two in the fourth while Marlon Lindsey had a sac fly in the 3rd and a triple in the 4th to drive in a run. Perkiomen (15-2) got four innings of two-hit mound work from David Smith  (five strikeouts) before Michael Gama finished off the abbreviated affair with a frame of two-strikeout relief.
