Highlights: Aidan Myers singled home Logan Barndt to give Boyertown the lead for good in the seventh inning and the Bears came back to beat Perk Valley in PAC Liberty action Friday.

Devin Hoelzle got the pitching win, allowing only two hits (one earned run) over six innings (6 walks, 2 strikeouts). Richard Black worked a clean seventh for the save.

In the decisive top of the seventh, Elijah Calvert’s RBI groundout tied the game before Myers’ (2 hits, RBI) would-be game-winner. Easton Albert was 2-for-2.

Derek Smith (4 IP, 2 hits, 1 ER, 4 K, 3 BB) and Conner Fitzpatrick (2 IP, 1 hit, 0 ER, 1 K, 1 BB) had solid pitching outings for Perk Valley.
