During the Immaculata University women’s lacrosse team’s loss to Lebanon Valley Saturday, the Mighty Macs’ Jacki Murray (a Villa Maria Academy alum) scored her 216th career goal, which set a new program record for career goals.
The record of 215 was previously held by current Immaculata assistant field hockey coach Layne Kennedy, who played for Immaculata from 2017-20. Murray, who has played in 58 career games for Immaculata, has 216 goals and 257 career points.
Murray scored all three of Immaculata’s goals Saturday. With the loss Immaculata fell to 1-8 overall, and with the win Lebanon Valley improved to 5-3 overall.

Coatesville 14, Pennsbury 4 >> Jill Wimmer, Gracelyn Landis, and Danielle Sweigart all homered to lead Coatesville to this nonleague win Saturday. Landis finished with four RBI’s and picked up the win in the circle allowing no earned runs. Wimmer, Sweigart and Camryn Popoff each had two hits.
Girls’ Lacrosse
Cardinal Gibbons 13, Bishop Shanahan 8 >> Fiona Duncheskie had a hat trick for the Eagles, and teammate Gilliam Greco chipped in with two goals. Carly Cunningham caused three opponent turnovers.
