Allie Hunter and Maddy Kane scored hat tricks, Hunter adding two assists, and Geena Augello made eight saves in keeping Ridley to one second-half goal as Springfield pulled away for a 10-6 Central League girls lacrosse win Tuesday night.

Jaclyn Guille had two goals and one assist for Springfield. Claire Lynch tossed in a goal and an assist.

Nadia Henkel scored twice for Ridley. Abb Axe had a goal and a helper.

Also in the Central League:

Garnet Valley 13, Marple Newtown 8 >> Five goals from Mia Raucci was the difference for the Jaguars, as was Merrin Mink and her 13 saves in goal.

Sammy Wood coupled three goals with three assists and five draw controls.

Radnor 16, Strath Haven 6 >> Taylor Murphy netted four times, and Grayson Buono and Sarah Kelley each added hat tricks as Radnor led 12-2 at half and never looked back.

Kate Fox led Strah Haven with four goals and one assist.

Conestoga 16, Haverford 4 >> Kiki Liebezeit led the way with two goals and two assists as 12 Pioneers scored. Bianca Antonacci, Ellie Wisch and Chloe Brown scored twice apiece.

Hilary Elsner scored twice to lead the Fords.

In the Inter-Ac League:

Episcopal Academy 16, Germantown Academy 1 >> Quinn Whitaker paired four goals with three assists as the Churchwomen romped. Maura Irish (two assists), Kate Dente and Sofia Gagliardi each tallied hat tricks.

In nonleague action:

Notre Dame 12, Hill School 7 >> Riley Davis accounted for four goals and two assists, Kiera McHugh tucked away three goals and an assist. Maeve Seeger added two goals and three assists.

In the Catholic League:

Archbishop Carroll 21, Nazareth Academy 1 >> Gracie Kucia supplied two goals and two assists, while Chloe Bleckley, Claire Sexton and Brooke Hippert scored twice apiece as Carroll (6-0, 2-0) led 14-0 after one quarter. Sam Hewitt provided a goal and four assists.

Cardinal O’Hara 12, St. Hubert 1 >> Honor Breen tallied three goals and three assists, and Fran Fazio potted a hat trick to lead the Lions.

Natalie DiBlasi had four goals. Marina Mersch stopped four shots.

Boys Tennis

David Ding prevailed love-and-love at third singles as Episcopal Academy bested Penn Charter, 6-1.

Preston Lubiniecki scored a 6-4, 6-2 victory at first singles for the Churchmen, who swept the doubles points.

In the Central League:

Garnet Valley 7, Upper Darby 0 >> The first doubles pairing of Ennis Boussaad and Rohit Rajagopalan, and the second duo of Kostub Kumar and Brennan Ngo won their matches, 6-3, 6-4, and 6-4, 6-3, respectively, to lead the Jaguars.

Girls Golf

Makayla Stone carded a match-best 39 at the aptly named Sunnybrook to see Agnes Irwin to a 217-357 win over Springside Chestnut Hill. Cici Curran added a 41 for the Owls.

Also in the Inter-Ac League:

Episcopal Academy 221, Notre Dame 247 >> Clarissa Leung carded her second 39 of the season to lead the Churchwomen at Overbrook Country Club. Addie Chang, Libby Flaisher and Julia Griffin all scored 45s.

Baseball

Gavin Derrickson went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored as Chichester posted a 19-spot in the second inning of a 22-1 mercy rule win over Chester.

Domenic Nardini, Troy Neff and Zach Murray each drove in three runs. Anthony Curl was 2-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Chichester pounded out 16 hits.

In the Inter-Ac League:

Haverford School 7, Penn Charter 2 >> Ian White twirled 5.1 masterful innings, allowing one hit, four walks and striking out nine, as the Fords (8-3-1, 1-0) won their league opener. Fred Jordan got the final five outs, allowing one hit.

Pat White and Brenner Green each went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Green also scored two runs, as did Conner Scanlon, who had two hits, including a triple.
