Brielle Wright scored five goals, and Anaka Boyd-Volz recorded a hat trick in Sun Valley’s 11-10 win over Chichester in nonleague girls lacrosse action Monday.

Rylee Hoesch added two goals and an assist for the Vanguards. Luci Damico had three helpers and goalie Ang Ellis made 13 saves.

Megan Murray scored six goals and Natalia Willoughby had four in the loss for Chi.

Ridley 10, Avon Grove 3 >> Abby Axe produced four goals and three assists to lead the Green Raiders. Callie Bryan (three assists) and Nadia Henkel each netted a pair of goals.

Strath Haven 12, Norfolk Academy 5 >> Kate Fox amassed five goals and one assist for the Panthers. Grace Kelly contributed a hat trick and Annie Dignazio chipped in two goals and an assist. Ava Yancey finished with nine saves in the cage.

Penncrest 14, Central Bucks South 1 >> Kate Stanton accumulated four goals, one assist, seven draw controls and a caused turnover as the Lions cruised. Kat Harding added three goals, and Lylah Pompeii and Cara Childs each tallied two goals and one assist. Reese Wickman stopped five shots in goal.

In the Central League:

Cardinal O’Hara 15, Little Flower 0 >> Fran Fazio (three assists), Sam Connolly (two assists) and Honor Breen (two assists) all recorded three goals for the Lions.

Abigail Adolph contributed two goals and a pair of assists. Goalie Marina Mensch (eight saves) posted the shutout.

Softball

Julia Weber was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs in Penncrest’s 16-1 victory against Radnor.

Charlotte Goldstein had three hits and three RBIs for the Lions. Bridget Gavin was the winning pitcher.

Boys Lacrosse

Luke Showalter scored a hat trick in Ridley’s 8-7 loss to Downingtown East.

John Tinney had a goal and two saves, goalie Colin Wintrode made 13 saves, and Hunter Farren won 12 faceoffs.

Spalding (Md.) 11, Springfield 6 >> Brad Barber paced the Cougars with three goals. Ty Henderson had one goal and an assist.
