High Schools: Orange leads scoring parade for Delco Christian in BAL tournament opener

Khamai Orange scored 20 points as Delco Christian made quick work of Valley Forge Military Academy, 84-43, in the opening round of the Bicentennial League tournament Monday.

Beau Lyren and Caleb Jameson scored 11 points each. Brad Berwick chipped in nine. The Knights (17-6) had 12 players score and hit 11 3-pointers.

Girls Swimming

Kara Damico went 24.91 to win the 50 freestyle and 1:04.40 to qualify for districts in the 100 backstroke as Sun Valley topped Chichester, 96-65.

Mackenna Dormer won the 100 free and 100 breaststroke for the Vanguards. Both Dormer and Damico were part of winning 200 free and 200 medley relay.

Angie DeVitis won the 200 free and 500 free for Chichester. Julia Pfleger won diving with a score of 191.55, edging teammate Isabella McMullen.

Boys Swimming

Eric Strifler won the 200 free and 100 free to lead Sun Valley to a 91-64 win over Chichester. Luke Habich claimed the 200 individual medley and 500 free.
