Girls Basketball

North Penn 60, West Chester Rustin 32 >> Cameron Crowley scored 18 points and North Penn (16-2, 11-1 SOL Colonial) earned its 12th straight victory by rolling past visiting West Chester Rustin in Saturday’s non-league contest.

Central Bucks East 54, Gwynedd Mercy 45 >> Anna Berry scored a game-high 20 points as Central Bucks East extended its winning streak to six with a non-league victory at Gwynedd Mercy.

Jess Lockwood added 18 points for the Patriots (15-2, 9-2 SOL Colonial).

Megan McDonnell had 16 points to lead the Monarchs (15-3, 5-1 AACA), which had its three-game win streak snapped. Emilia Coleman collected 11 points.

Boys Basketball

Lancaster Mennonite 45, Dock Mennonite 44 >> Defense kept Dock Mennonite close despite struggles scoring in the second half but a Pioneers’ miss on a last-second shot enabled visiting Lancaster Mennonite, the defending PIAA-2A champ, to hang on for the win.

For Dock (14-5, 11-0 BAL Presidents), the loss ended its seven-game win streak.

Constitution 66, Methacton 60 >> Methacton led 47-45 after three quarters but could not hold off Constitution, who outscored the Warriors 21-13 over the final eight minutes to win the non-league matchup.

Christian Matos scored a game-high 22 points for Methacton (13-6, 8-3 PAC, 6-2 PAC Liberty), which had a three-game win streak stopped. Sal Iemmello and Alex Hermann both added 10 points.

Kyree Latimer had 21 points to pace Constitution. Perry Fields finished with 19 points while Amir Speights contributed 10 points.

Pope John Paul II 77, Academy Park 48 >> Pope John Paul II raced out to an 18-2 lead after a quarter then pulled away after halftime in cruising to a non-league victory.

Bradley Bass had a game-high 21 points for the Golden Panthers (7-10, 4-7 PAC, 4-4 PAC Frontier), who led 42-27 at the break before pushing their advantage to 64-41 at the end of the third. Jason Green scored 17 points with Ayden Wise adding 14 points.

Hamady Keita finished with 11 points for Academy Park.
