Hill School 70, Hun School 56

The Hill School locked up the Mid-Atlantic Prep League regular-season championship with a win at Hun School, improving to 5-0 in the league.

Balanced scoring did the job for the Blues with four players in double figures, Nemo Holmes (17), Aivaras Uosis (14), Ethan Johnston (12) and Jacob Meacham (10).

Hill, which took control with a big third quarter, won its fifth straight game and locked up the top seed for the MAPL tournament.

Perkiomen Valley 63, Pottsgrove 43

Perk Valley was in control throughout, building to a 20-point win over Pottsgrove in a PAC cross-divisional matchup on Jan. 26.

Julian Sadler and Josh Tagert had 21 and 18 points, respectively, for PV (17-3). Bryce Phillips had 11 for the Falcons.

Methacton (13-6 Overall, 8-3 PAC, 6-2 Liberty) shot 4-for-24 from the 3-point line and faltered down the stretch to lose to District 12’s Constitution in non-league play on Jan. 27.  Christian Matos led the Warriors with 22 points.

The Phantoms pulled level with Pottstown atop the PAC Frontier (7-1, 13-6) after doubling up Upper Perk in divisional play on Jan. 26. Deacon Baratta (18) and Max Lebisky (16) were top scorers for Phoenixville. Braden Reig’s 12 led UP.

PJP allowed a single basket in the first quarter and used a strong start to defeat Academy Park in non-league play on Jan. 27. Offensively, the Golden Panthers got strong games from Bradey Bass (21), Jason Green (17, five 3s) and Ayden Wise (14).

Asya Price starred with a 30-point performance and OJR cruised by Fleetwood in non-league action on Jan. 27. The Wildcats turned it into a rout in a 27-point third quarter that saw Price score nine and Liv Bonney six. Abby Smith added 10 for OJR.

Phoenixville stayed unbeaten in the PAC Frontier Division by rolling Upper Perk on Jan. 27. Kayden Baratta’s 23 led the Phantoms, while Maliyah Warren and Emine Ulcay added 11 each. Erin States scored 18 for Upper Perk.

Spring-Ford closed the match by winning seven of the final eight bouts to take down Owen J. Roberts in a Pioneer Athletic Conference dual on Jan. 27.

Trailing 18-9 after Wildcat pins from Dillon and Dean Bechtold, Brady Seislove turned the tide at 107 with a major decision. A forfeit followed by pins from Gus Smith (121), Jonathan Chapman (127) and Christian Ruiz (139) put the Rams on their way. Jamie Silva (145) and Drew Dotterer (152) scored narrow wins to close the match.
