“I am really proud of the effort and energy we brought to the field tonight against a tough CB West,” North Penn coach Shannon McCracken said. “We played as a team, hustled to every 50/50 ball, and had a never give up attitude on the field. The first time we played them it was a 8-6 loss so we knew it would be another high scoring game. At the end of the first quarter it was 3-2 so it was proving to be a back and forth of exchanging goals. We needed to play a bit cleaner defense and protect the entry to the circle better and not give them so much shooting space because they are fast and dynamic on the attack. In addition we needed to get more rebounds and finish in the circle. The Barwis sisters (Ashleigh and Kylie) had a big night for us up the right side of the field and captains Grace McGeehan and Melissa Sessler were leaders on the field making top plays for the Knights.”
