St. John’s 1, Hill School 0

In a clash between the top two nationally ranked high school teams in the country, No. 1 Hill School was shut out by No. 2 St. John’s (Texas) in a one-score loss at the Proving Grounds in Conshohocken. After three stalemated quarters, St. John’s scored the game winner with 9:30 left in the fourth.

Spring-Ford 7, Perkiomen Valley 1

Marissa Cagliola (two goals), Aubrey Grossman (goal, two assists) and Maddie Friend (goal, assist) contributed on multiple goals as Spring-Ford soared by Perk Valley in PAC action Friday.
Nina Scott, Elise Reagan and Eva Drumbore also hit the cage for the Rams. Vic Guano had PV’s lone goal. Norah Kirsch recorded 10 saves in the win.

Pope John Paul II 4, Upper Merion 0

Abby Simmers, Reese McCoy, Sarah Mink, Grace Mondillo were on the scoresheet for the Golden Panthers in a PAC Frontier win Friday over the Vikings. Ava Parkinson stopped all four shots she faced in goal for PJP while Katie Nilles had an assist.

The Bears came back from a halftime deficit with two second-half goals to nab a PAC Liberty win over the Wildcats Friday afternoon.

Boyertown goals came from Elijah Kaba-Emodoh (2) and Chase Bartman while assists came from Brady Albanese and Jayden Anderson. Juan Colina-Valeri scored for OJR.
Brayden Risser stopped eight shots.

Another outstanding defensive effort led the Lady Falcons to their third shutout of the year in a PAC Frontier victory Friday. Pottsgrove (2-1-2, 4-3-2) got its first goal on a cross from Brianna Thorum to Kayla Petri who skillfully guided the ball in for a goal. The second score came midway through the second half when keeper Ella Smith sent a punt over the PJP defense and Emma Gonzalez tallied her ninth goal of the season.

Perkiomen Valley 2, Methacton 0

The Vikings scored a goal in each half and locked down the Warriors in a PAC Liberty win Friday. Ashley Pickles was assisted by Gia Marciano after Brianna Young started the move 9:31 into the game.

Adrianna Corropolese sealed the game on goal from a rebound of a shot by Gia Marciano with eight minutes remaining. Goalie Olivia Hulayew earned a shutout with two saves. Methacton keeper Anna Qawasmy recorded 12 saves.

Upper Merion 4, Pottstown 2

Pottstown was unable to hold onto their halftime lead and fell to Upper Merion Friday. Pottstown goals were scored by Savannah Richards and Daniela Castillo while the strong play of senior goalie Jayla Zipay kept the Trojans in striking distance.

Spring-Ford 8, Norristown 0

Maddie Budka scored a hat trick with one assist for the Rams in a shutout win over the Eagles. Izzy Pandorf paced Spring-Ford’s offense with three assists and a goal. Hannah Dennison (assist), Meg Kurian, Erin Brogan and Brynn Vickery all added a goal each. Ava Hissong tallied a pair of assists. Olivia Nield (one save) and Riley Reavy (two saves) combined for the clean sheet in net for the Rams.
