GIRLS SOCCER

Daniel Boone 3, Boyertown 2

Highlights: Anna Buckwalter found the back of the net twice and Sophia Hogan (two assists) scored once to lead the Blazers past the Bears in non-league action. Megan Gerloff made an assist and Rece Golab made nine saves for Daniel Boone. Harper Glennon scored both goals for Boyertown and Tessa Wolfe provided an assist. Ciera Cameron registered six saves in net for the Bears.

Pottsgrove 6, Interboro 2

Highlights: From down 1-0 to start, the Falcons soared ahead with six goals for a non-league win. After scoring the equalizer, Pottsgrove own-goaled to give Interboro the lead once more, 2-1. Emma Gonzalez scored a hat trick while Brianna Thorum added two goals and an assist. Interboro was held shotless in a dominant second half by the Falcons.

Highlights: Sinaly Sidibe scored twice for the Falcons and Ryan Smith made four saves. Smith also came up with a save on a penalty kick, preserving Pottsgrove’s shutout.

Highlights: Marlee Fetrow scored a hat trick for the Blazers in a shutout win over the Eagles.
Laura Camburn (assist) found the back of the net twice and Liv Welker added a goal. Haley Wagner and Jules Hall tallied two assists apiece. Daniel Boone had a vast 21-0 advantage in corners. Breanne Marchiano (two saves) and Lilly Maskeri (two saves) split net duties for Daniel Boone and Brandis Baylor made 10 saves for Norristown.

Wilson 3, Spring-Ford 0

Highlights: Evelyn Melograna scored at the 13:15 mark in the first quarter on an assist from Sidni Templeton, then assisted Sophie Wilchek at the 9:44 mark. Riding a pair of first-quarter goals, Wildon found another in the third frame from Caroline Hoarse. Wilson held a 13-3 advantage in corners and 15-8 shot advantage. Norah Kirsch came up with 12 saves for Spring-Ford and Catherine Wolf made eight saves for Wilson.

Cam Niedroski logged 24 assists, seven digs with a kill and three blocks. Boyertown was led by Ava Hurter’s eight kills with four digs and a block. Hailey Jones served three aces with five kills, three digs and two blocks. Sydney Scheck tallied 15 assists with three digs and two aces.

Junior outside hitter Lauren Angelucci logged 15 Kills, two aces and a block while Liv McCullagh added nine kills and a block. Senior setter Dannica Fuller registered 15 assists and served three aces.
