Highlights: Dylan Broderick threw a complete no-hitter and struck out 13 for the Rams. David Ruckman went 2-for-4 with a run scored and Broderick recorded two hits as well. Nicholas Flores and Gage Swanger both had an RBI. Zach Brockner struck out seven with six hits allowed over six innings of work for the Wildcats.

Highlights: Tied 5-5 in the bottom of the sixth inning, Dylan Roberts (2-for-3, two RBIs) tripled to drive in the winning run for the Vikings. Vincent Lindelow batted 3-for-4 and Roberts earned the win with three hits allowed over three innings. Andrew Prendergast pitched four innings with two strikeouts and three hits allowed. Brody Weiss had three RBIs for the Indians.

Highlights: Hudson Narke and MA Smaltz (triple) had two hits and three RBI each and three Phantoms pitchers combined for 12 strikeouts and one hit surrendered in a five-inning PAC Frontier win over Pottstown.

Dylan Antonini (1-for-1, 2 RBI, 2 BB) struck out eight in three innings while Colin Bull and Wade Carruthers each threw hitless innings in relief. 

Kyle Corbin had the Trojans’ lone hit and threw two innings in relief (4 hits, 2 ER).

Highlights: Evan Jones allowed just one unearned run and struck out eight in 4.2 innings, earning the win on the mound to improve the Warriors — ranked No. 1 in District 1-6A — to 11-1 on the season. Jake Chapman recorded two hits with two RBIs and a run scored. Kross Howarth homered and scored a second run as well. Conner Fitzpatrick recorded two hits for the Vikings.

Highlights: Luke Terlesky and Brendan Kenning led the Golden Panthers’ onslaught in a four-inning rout of the Falcons in a Monday PAC Frontier matchup.

Terlesky had a home run, triple and three RBI while Kenning was 4-for-4 with two RBI for 14-hit PJP. Noah Brandt and Billy Fitzgerald also had two hits each. 

TJ Boccella threw three hitless frames for PJP, allowing a run from two walks with two strikeouts.

Boyertown 13, Norristown 3 

Results

Highlights: Jayden Kohn and Randy Wynings (2 doubles, 2 RBI) had three hits apiece as Boyertown rolled past Norristown in PAC Liberty Division play on Monday.

Steven Colucci homered and drove in four runs while Max Kneidinger and Elijah Calvert were 2-for-3 with three RBI. Richard Black (4-1) got the pitching win for Boyertown.

Highlights: The Mustangs’ winning pitcher also produced at the plate. Bryce Detwiler went 3-for-4 with a home run, four runs scored and two RBIs, while striking out five with five hits allowed over six innings on the mound. Tyler Minnick also hit a leadoff home run for Governor Mifflin (6-1 Berks I, 10-3). Mason Walter recorded two hits for the Blazers (2-5 Berks II, 8-6).

Highlights: Ian Young recorded his 100th career point for the Golden Panthers (7-6) while dishing out a five-goal, three assist performance in non-league action. Ryan Lamson poured on four goals while Soph. Jamie McCue and Cole Miller buried two goals apiece. 

Connor Gucwa (two assists), Eric Zadroga, Luke Pallante (assist), Dillon Murphy, Jake Vigilante and Zach Voynar all added a goal each. Dillon Murphy led Pope John Paul II in faceoffs, going 8-for-17. Carter Hritz went 2-for-7. Sean Fallon came up with 11 saves in net for the Golden Panthers and Vince Silli made three.

Highlights: Casey Lamey (assist) and Kevin Roseland piled on four goals apiece for the Vikings for a league win over the Warriors. Justin Besz (two assists) scored twice and Lincoln Jones tallied two assists. Collin McCormick (assist), Andrew Haney and Qwynne Jones all added a goal. Ryan Becker (assist) went 16-for-22 in faceoffs for Upper Merion and Nathan Uhl registered eight saves in net.

 

GIRLS LACROSSE

Boyertown 17, Pope John Paul II 10

Results

Highlights: Boyertown took control in the second half for a PAC cross-divisional win Monday while getting seven goals from Delaney Fox. Alina Friz had a role in nine goals (3 goals, 6 assists) while Hannah Adamski had three goals, three assists and nine draw controls and Peyton Shellaway had two goals and two assists. 

McKayla Elison made her 100th save of the season with 15 on the day for the Golden Panthers. Jill Cobaugh led Pope John Paul II with four goals and one assist. Cate Mink and Elena Collilouri scored twice apiece while Ava Zepp and Grace Mondillo both added a goal. Sarah Mink and Molly Bachman each tallied an assist.

Highlights: Trailing 9-6 at halftime, the Warriors rallied in the second stanza behind a five-goal outing from Megan Sanelli. Michelle Zhai shelled out four goals and Giada Catoia scored a hat trick. Bella Catania found the back of the net twice for Methacton while Lily DeWan made three saves in net and Natalie Drake had seven.

Ashley Evitts put up a game-high six goals with one assist for the Vikings and Julianna Callison scored a hat trick. Sam Walmsley (assist), Olivia Smith and Brooke Olsen all buried two goals each. Anaya Onwubuariri made nine saves in net for Upper Merion.

Spring-Ford 20, Upper Perkiomen 9

Results

Highlights: Hailey Mozi amassed seven goals with one assist to fuel a Rams win in PAC crossover action. Alexis Sowers (four assists) and Riley CZapor also paced Spring-Ford’s attack with a pair of hat tricks. Madison Pierce tallied five assists and buried two goals as well. Eva Engro, Megan Ruckman, Lindsay Evak (assist), Summer Smith and Kristina Cirino all added a goal each.

The Indians were led by a five-goal, nine-draw control performance from Mary Kate Sitko, who nabbed two ground balls. Abby Davidheiser (two ground balls, four draw controls) scored twice while Payton Bettys (five draw controls, three ground balls) and Marianne Uber both added a goal.

Owen J. Roberts 14, Pottsgrove 2

Results

Highlights: Fourteen different players scored for the Wildcats, who led 10-0 at halftime. Mckenzie Hagerty came up with three saves in net for Owen J. Roberts.

Perkiomen Valley 19, Pottstown 3

Results

Highlights: Twelve different players scored for the Vikings, led by four goals, two draw controls and a ground ball by Sophia Coleman. Holli Nuss scored a hat trick with three draw controls and two ground balls. Sydney McMonagle, who made her 100th career draw control, scored one goal.

Lauren McMahon (two draw controls) and Alexis Keysock scored twice each while Grace Schaffner (three assists), Leah Pfieffer (two assists), Syd Pierce (assist), Emily Brock (assist), Giana Scaliti (assist), Reagan McLoughlin, and Lindsey Farrington (assist) all added a goal. Mollie Logan made one save for Perkiomen Valley and Charlotte Foster had two.

Tatum Robbins scored twice for the Trojans and Brynn McClune found the back of the net as well.

Highlights: Madalyn Dyer and Erin Gray combined on a four-inning no-hitter and Ashley Forrest and Elizabeth Proctor led the Tribe’s 14-hit attack in a PAC Frontier win Monday.

Forrest was 2-for-2 with a homer, Proctor had three hits (3 RBI) and Darby Gasda doubled twice for the Frontier-leading UP (6-0, 8-1, 9-4).

Highlights: In a matchup that featured 27 hits, Spring-Ford stayed in front of OJR after a six-run second inning in a PAC Liberty win Monday.

Morgan Lester (2-for-3, 3 RBI) and Ava Bainbridge (2-for-4, 3 RBI) led the Rams’ 15-hit offense. Ellie Jarrell, Jess Fliszar, Riley Gancasz and Ally Burgess also recorded multi-hit games for SF. 

Rachel Epps and Liv Egan fueled the OJR offense with three-hit games.

Governor Mifflin 18, Daniel Boone 3 (3 innings)

Highlights: Serenity Snyder led the Mustangs (6-0 Berks I, 11-1) at the plate and in the circle to rout the Blazers (0-5 Berks II, 0-10). Snyder went 2-for-2 with a grand slam, a double and seven RBIs. In the circle, Snyder struck out six with one hit allowed. Carly Angstadt went 2-for-3 for Governor Mifflin.

Highlights: Courtney Freese worked a five-hit shutout to carry Methacton to a PAC Liberty win on Monday. Freese struck out five in a complete-game effort. 

Methacton had 13 hits and received two-hit games from Mady Polonsky, Sydney Hockenbrock, Meg Lineen, Jillian McTamney and Maddie Krupiewski.

Erin Carosi was 2-for-2 for the Vikings.

Highlights: Victoria Butler tripled and then scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the seventh inning to allow Boyertown to squeak by Norristown in a battle of PAC Liberty first versus last place.

Norristown’s Ryan Morse gave the Bears all they could handle by allowing only three hits (8K, 2 BB)  but the Boyertown duo of Kyra Neiswender and Ella Hurter came through with a combined one-hitter that carried the Bears. Neiswender went five innings and allowed one hit, one run and struck out nine. Hurter threw two hitless innings of relief, striking out five. 

Camryn Holmes doubled and drove in the Eagles’ lone run.
