
GIRLS LACROSSE
Upper Perkiomen 17, Northampton 9
Highlights: Upper Perkiomen ran out to a 13-6 lead at the half in a non-league win Friday afternoon. Abby Davidheiser led the Indians (3-0) with four goals, Mary Kate Sitko had three goals and two assists and Payton Bettys scored three times. Maggie Milkowich (5 draw controls), Marianne Uber and Mia Schneider added two goals apiece for host Upper Perk, Ava Senseny had a goal and an assist and Abby Orsini assisted on one goal. Ella Steirer scored five goals and Brianna Gora and Lauren Reznick two each for Northampton (0-4). The Indians have outscored their three opponents 47-14.
Methacton 9, Harriton 4
Highlights: Mackenzie Coupe (one assist) and Michelle Zhai both scored hat tricks for Methacton in a win over Harriton. Megan Sanelli tallied three assists with one goal while Lily DeWan and Piper Evangelista found the back of the net once apiece. Natalie Drake came up with nine saves in net for the Warriors.
BOYS LACROSSE
Wissahickon 12, Perkiomen Valley 5
Highlights: Wissahickon took control with a 5-0 second quarter in a non-league win Friday night versus the visiting Vikings. Brad Curci led PV with two goals and an assist and Bryce Coletta, Jackson Baker and Jacob Rotay each scored one. Coletta and Noah Delo recorded one assist each. Delo also won 13 of 20 draws and Jack Leddy made 10 saves for PV. The match was tied 2-2 after the first quarter before the Warriors went on their game-deciding run.
SOFTBALL
Wyomissing 13, Daniel Boone 3 (5 innings)
Highlights: Keira Ernst allowed one run over five innings for Wyomissing (1-2) in a non-league win Friday afternoon over the visiting Blazers (0-2). Lily Caldwell tripled and Maggie Steber doubled for the Spartans in the contest that was halted in the fifth inning by the 10-run rule.
