Lansdale Catholic 76, Neumann-Goretti 54: Gabby Casey scored 40 points and grabbed 21 rebounds in a Philaelphia Catholic League win Thursday. She added five assists, three steals and two blocks. Casey made 13 shots and and went 14-for-15 from the free-throw line.

Archbishop Carroll 56, St. Hubert 16: Taylor Wilson scored 19 points to lead the Patriots to a win in their Philadelphia Catholic League opener Thursday. Carroll jumped out to a 15-0 lead after the first quarter and 29-6 lead at half.

Pottsgrove 38, Upper Merion 28: Levayda Fugua scored 15 points in the Vikings PAC Frontier loss Thursday.

Boys Basketball

Souderton 78, Harry Truman 36: James Blair hit nine three-pointers in a 31-point performance to lead the Indians Thursday. Aiden Maue added 14 points, Levi John 11 and Nate Hemsing 10.

Norristown 77, Boyertown 66: Jayden Byrd scored 19 points in the Eagles PAC Frontier win Thursday. Myon Kirlew added 18 points, Jonathan Brooks 15 and Jaden Wise 13.

Spring-Ford 59, Methacton 52: Alex Hermann scored 16 points and Cam Chilson added 15 in the Warriors PAC Liberty loss Thursday. Methacton struggled from the free-throw line, shooting 7-for-16.

Pottsgrove 64, Upper Merion 49: Yusuf Riley scored 13 points in the Vikings PAC Frontier loss Thursday.

Pennsbury 49, Pennridge 35: Xavier Peters scored 18 points in the Rams loss Thursday. Matt Campione added seven points.

Girls Swimming

Souderton 98, Methacton 80: Jessica Burns won the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke and was a part of the winning 200-yard medley relay team in Souderton’s non-league win Thursday.

Boys Swimming

Souderton 99, Methacton 76: William Stanczewski won the 200-yard freestyle and one-meter diving and was a part of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team in Souderton’s non-league win Thursday.
