Mary Sareen hit a trio of 3-pointers and finished with a team-high 13 points as Radnor kicked off the 2022-23 season with a 40-29 victory over Kennett at the Downingtown West Tournament.
Paige Yurchak added 10 points and seven rebounds and Meg Doyle tossed in seven points for the Raptors.

Garnet Valley 41, St. George’s Tech 23 >> Haylie Adamski produced 14 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and two assists for the Jaguars, who led 10-0 after one quarter. Emily Olsen tallied seven points, eight rebounds and two steals.
Strath Haven 42, Academy Park 35 >> Lauren Shea scored 10 points and made three steals to lead the Panthers to the win.
Haven outscored the host Knights 20-8 in the third quarter. Sierra Felder had 10 points and Olivia Voshell had six points and five rebounds.
Emani Banks led all scorers with 16 points for Academy Park. Semaji Young chipped in seven points.
Notre Dame 47, George School 38 >> Lizzie Halligan (13 points) was the top producer for the Irish. Annie Greek scored 11 points and Katie Halligan had 10.
Agnes Irwin 48, Oxford 45 >> Simone Harvey’s 13-point performance helped the Owls claim victory at the Lower Merion Tip-Off. Grace Getz and Gabrielle Seibert ended with 10 points each.
Girls Swimming
Gabi Fiorentino Wong won four races top lead Upper Darby past Archbishop Carroll, 82-54.
Fiorentino Wong helped the Royals take first place in the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay. She bested the field in the 200 freestyle in (2:22.08) 100 backstroke (1:13.96).
Elise Olmstead was first in the diving event and was a member of the winning 200 medley relay and 200 free relay.
Ridley 95, Cardinal O’Hara 85 >> Rori Kennedy was first in the 200 individual medley for the Green Raiders. Kayleigh Kennedy won the 50 free and Jolie Torrens had the top diving score.
For O’Hara, Madison Gibson was first in the 100 free.
Boys Swimming
Sebastian Valle, Luke Olmstead and Connor Hunt were triple winners as Upper Darby (79 points) won a tri-meet against Devon Prep (41) and Archbishop Carroll (32).
Valle led off the 200 medley relay and swam third in the 400 free relay, both wins for the Royals. He notched an individual victory in the 200 free. Olmstead was part of the 200 medley and 400 free relays and took first place in 200 individual medley. Hunt was first in the 50 free and 100 breaststroke, and anchored the 400 free relay. Gabe Green triumphed in the 100 butterfly.
Carroll’s Brennan Donohue won the 100 free.
Ridley 94, Cardinal O’Hara 83 >> Gavin Kennedy outlasted competition in the 500 free. Other Green Raider winners included Matt Murdock (50 free), Cody Hollenbach (100 breast) and Matt Marinelli (100 back).
O’Hara’s 200 medley relay (Kenny Rutherford, Henry Schueren, Jason Kutufaris, Jon Sandon) was victorious in 1:47.86.
