Wissahickon 2, Upper Dublin 1: Down 1-0 entering the fourth quarter, the Trojans pulled off a dramatic SOL Liberty stunner on Monday. Both goals were scored by Sophia Havrilla, the gamewinner at 7:24 off a feed from Ella Hummel. Havrilla tied the game up with 10:24 left in the contest on a penalty stroke. Upper Dublin struck in the first half when Rayla Kratchman scored off an Olivia Burdo assist. Wissahickon’s Meredith Walsh and Ava Fell combined for 10 saves. Upper Dublin’s Camryn Muth finished with four saves.

Pope John Paul II 2, Lansdale Catholic 0: Grace Mondillo and Abby Wilmot scored as the Golden Panthers picked up the nonconference win on Monday. Becky Fanelli was credited with one assist, while Gi Manza made one save in net.

New Hope 1, Springfield Twp. 0: Kennedy Braddock made one save but the Spartans lost a heartbreaker on Monday in SOL Freedom play. Sophia Cozza scored for New Hope in the first quarter.
“Springfield played a solid game, we had a lull in the 2nd quarter but came back with a solid performance and fought right to the very last second,” Springfield Head Coach Anita Stum said. “Just could not finish with the ball in the cage.”

Pope John Paul II 3, Phoenixville 0: The Golden Panthers won in straight sets by scores of 25-13, 25-7 and 25-15 in PAC Frontier action on Monday. Maeve Gallagher led PJP with seven kills, wihle Madison Monahan added 12 service points and 23 assists. Grace Cooper chipped in with 12 digs for the Golden Panthers.

Upper Merion 3, Pottsgrove 0: On Upper Merion’s Senior Night, the Vikings won by scores of 25-13, 25-12 and 25-14 on Monday. Senior OH Gabby Canete and senior libero Julie Giammarco led the defense with seven digs each. Senior setter Caitlyn Daywlat added 26 assists and eight service points for the Vikings (14-3).

Methacton 3, Spring-Ford 1: The Warriors came back to win in four sets on Monday night (20-25, 25-16, 25-13 and 26-14) behind 23 kills, 2 aces and 1 block from Kayla Ginther. Senior outside hitter Mandy Baldwin added 13 kills, 12 digs and 1 ace, while soph libero Mianna Ly added nine digs and six aces. Junior setter Rachel Pettine came through with 40 assists, 5 kills and 2 blocks for the Warriors (13-3, 9-3).

Pope John Paul II 4, Pottstown 1: A big second half led the Golden Panthers to the PAC Frontier win on Monday. Cameron Love, Morgan Hughes, Kira George and Kira George provided the scoring for the Golden Panthers. Credited with the assists for PJP were Catherine Dawson, Miriana Michinok and Olivia Rubinich (2). Kyanni Escudero made six saves in net for PJP.

Boys soccer
Pope John Paul II 10, Pottstown 0: Scoring for the Golden Panthers on Monday werew Jack Heffner, Aidan Gray, Ben Rubinich, Lucas Varughese, Thomas Nguyen, Jeffrey McCauley, Braden Sidebothem, Joe Dawson and Ryan Liu. Jason Krum and Carl Robinson combined for three saves in net.
