Chris DiRita shot par on back-to-back days at different courses to help Bonner & Prendergast clinch a spot in next Wednesday’s Catholic League championship with wins over St. Hubert and Roman Catholic.

DiRita shot an even-par 35 at Bala Golf Club in a 270-382 victory over Little Flower. He followed that up with a 31 at Walnut Lane as the Friars upset the Cahillites, 247-257 to advance to the league championship as a team for the 18th year in a row, a feat matched only by La Salle and St. Joseph’s Prep, according to Bonner & Prendie coach Jack Glacken.
