Boys soccer

Souderton 3, Neshaminy 1 >> Ethan Lacher scored two goals in Big Red’s win Thursday.

Ty Quintois scored the first goal in the eighth minute before Lacher added one in the 41st and another in the 48th. Quintois assisted on the second goal.

Souderton keeper Chris McKenna made 10 saves.

Wissahickon 1, New Hope Solebury 0 >> Sam Grossberg scored in the 74th minute to lift the Trojans to a win Thursday.

Michael Om and Justin Reynosso assisted on the goal while goalie Eric McEvily made three saves.

Girls soccer

Plymouth Whitemarsh 2, Springfield 0 >> Caelin Kosvitch scored both goals in the Colonials win Thursday.

Kosvitch, a junior midfielder, scored her second goal on a penalty kick in the second half. Marleigh Burton drew the PK.

Goalie Caitlyn Dinh posted a shutout.

Upper Moreland 1, Quakertown 0 >> Willow Taylor scored in the 58th minute to lead the Golden Bears to a win over the Panthers Thursday.

Maggie Brophy found Taylor on a diagonal pass. Taylor received it in stride and finished for the game’s lone goal.

Girls volleyball

Souderton 3, CB South 0 >> Big Red swept SOL Continental rival CB South 25-16, 25-21, 25-13 Thursday.

McKenna Murawski had five kills, three aces and five digs while Alexa Mazzeo had five aces and nine digs, Teya McConaha 12 kills, two aces and four digs and Lauren Vince four kills and one block.

Boys golf

Pope John Paul II 198, Pottsgrove 247 >> Giovanni Sarmento shot a match-best 37 and Jack Brennan a 38 to lead the Golden Panthers to a PAC win Thursday.

Ryan McQuarrie shot a 40 for PJP while Aidan Canning shot a 41 and Kevin Bleam 42.

Girls golf

Perk Valley 170, Souderton 203 >> Abigail McCorkell shot a match-best 37 to lead the Vikings to a non-league win Thursday.

Sarah Howard led Souderton by shooting a 43.

Girls tennis

Methacton 6, Upper Perk 1 >> Hana Nouaime swept first singles 6-0, 6-0 to lead the Warriors to a PAC win Thursday.

Phoenixville 6, Pope John Paul II 1 >> The Golden Panthers lost all three singles matches and three of four doubles matches against Phoenixville Thursday.

PJP took first doubles when Bailey Finkelmeier and Ally Mooney won in straight sets 6-3, 6-3.

Boys cross country

Souderton 17, CB East 46 >> Big Red put seven runners in the top eight in a win over the Patriots Wednesday.
