FIRST TEAM

SPRINTS
Ava Alexander, Jr., West Chester Rustin — After winning a gold medal at States in the triple jump as a sophomore last year, then suffering a stress fracture this spring, the multi-talented junior sparkled in the 400-meter run this time at States, finishing fifth (56.42) and anchoring the Golden Knights’ third-place 4×400 relay team.
Chinonye Moneme, Sr., West Chester East — Senior placed sixth in the 100-meter dash at the PIAA 3A state championships, with a clocking of 12.31. At Districts, she finished first in the 100 (12.37). Also qualified for States in 200 meter dash.
Macaela Walker, Soph., Oxford — Sophomore finished seventh in the 100-meter hurdles (15.44) at the PIAA 3A state championships. Finished in first place at Districts in the 100 hurdles with a clocking of 14.57.
Gillian Yonce, Sr., Great Valley — Senior sprinter was a key factor in the Patriots finishing fifth at in the 4×100 relay and ninth in the 4×400 at the PIAA 3A state championships, and first at Penn Relays National 4×100.

MID-DISTANCE/DISTANCE
Carolyn Tarpley, Jr., Downingtown West — Junior finished sixth in the 3200-meter run at States with a time of 10:39.54, a top-10 clocking in Pennsylvania. At the District 1 3A championships, she was a champion in the 3200 (10:52.20) and finished fourth in the girls 1600.
Ellie Keefer, Jr., West Chester Rustin — Junior finished 12th in the 3200-meter run (10:52.63) at the PIAA 3A state championships. Placed third at Districts in the 3200 and finished fifth in the 1600-meter run.

FIELD EVENTS
Alex Pancoast, Sr., Unionville — Senior finished fifth in the girls discus at the PIAA 3A state championships with a throw of 125-4, one of the top-10 marks in Pennsylvania. She also finished sixth at States in the shot put (39-3). Was first in discus at Districts with a throw of 131-1, nearly 17 feet ahead of the second-place finisher.
Kirstin Hoffman, Jr., Kennett — Junior finished fourth in the pole vault at the PIAA 3A state championships, with a mark of 12-6, which ranked among the top 10 in Pennsylvania.
Maddy Kelley, Jr., Villa Maria — Junior placed third in the pole vault at States, with a mark of 12-6, which ranked among the top-10 in Pennsylvania. Finished first in pole vault at the District 1 3A championships.
