Highlights: Lauren Yeanish netted a hat trick to head a potent offensive that enabled the Falcons to cruise past the Trojans Friday.
Yeanish’s scoring was complemented by the two-goal efforts of Katie Bean, Alaura O’Neill, Sydney Wasdick, Christine Hires and Abby Hakes, with five other Pottsgrove players contributing solo tallies. Taetum Robbins accounted for all Pottsgrove’s scoring.

Highlights: Michelle Zhai and Megan Sanelli matched the Bears’ total offensive output in keying the Warriors’ win in PAC Liberty action Friday.
Zhai had a game-high four goals, one more than Sanelli’s hat trick. Boyertown got pairs of goals from Emma Beidler, Ali Pioli and Cori Bieber.

Highlights: Casey Lamey figured in on nine of the Vikings’ goals as they rolled over the Phantoms Friday.
Lamey had a game-high seven goals along with two assists. Collin McCormick and Lincoln Jones chipped in with two goals apiece toward UM’s total.

Highlights: Kylene Gooch’s go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the sixth proved the difference in Friday’s PAC Crossover win. Ashley Forrest drove in two more runs for UP, while Madalyn Dyer went the distance in the circle, striking out eight. Alyx Morgan (double) had a three-hit day for the Bears, and Lauren Ziegler tallied a double, triple and two RBI.
Methacton 2, Upper Merion 1
Highlights: Nicole Timko doubled and homered to lead the Methacton offense in Friday’s PAC Crossover win over the Vikings. Methacton’s Jess Lineen (four strikeouts) and Upper Merion’s Ava DiDonato (two strikeouts) dueled in the pitcher’s circle, combining for just one walk.
BASEBALL
Owen J. Roberts 10, Pottstown 0
Highlights: Three pitchers combined on a no-hitter while the bats brought the “mercy rule” into effect five innings into the Wildcats’ divisional crossover victory over the Trojans.
Shay Geib, who threw the first two frames, got the win as OJR’s hurlers combined for 10 strikeouts while yielding just one walk. Aaron Kirby and Ethan Sabatino each drove in pairs of runs in a lineup that did its run production despite getting just five hits.
Perkiomen Valley 7, Pottsgrove 1
Highlights: Ashton Mehler struck out 14 in six innings (one run) to help PV to Friday’s PAC Crossover win. Michale Poruban, Andrew McGowan (double, 2 RBI) and Jack Colyer (RBI) had two-hit days, while Zach Fusco drove in a another pair of runs. Yasir-Gardener-Sizer and Jacob Slanker doubled for the Falcons, who couldn’t push past any runs after the first inning.
