Highlights: Jules Scogna fired a one-hitter and homered, driving in two of the Rams’ runs in Friday’s non-league win.

Maddie Williams also went deep for Spring-Ford.

Highlights: Megan Lineen threw a six-hit complete game, and Riley Kairer hit three doubles to spark the Warriors’ offense in Friday’s season-opening victory over the Indians.

Lineed had four strikeouts against one walk. Avery Schwartz had another two-bagger for Methacton.

Pottsgrove 9, Wyomissing 2

Highlights: Avery Gleason swung a very potent bat for the Falcons, supporting Mikayla Eckman’s equally-solid pitching in their season-opening victory over the Spartans.

Gleason drove in four runs from a 4-for-4 outing that saw her hits all go for extra bases: A home run and triple, two doubles. Eckman rode that offensive support to a four-hit, 11-strikeout complete game.
