Girls Basketball

Souderton 50, Council Rock South 36 >> The Indians (12-2) opened the game with a 13-0 run and never looked back in picking up their ninth straight win in the SOL crossover on Friday night. Casey Harter paced Souderton with a double-double, scoring 14 points and collecting 10 rebounds. Mikalya McGilian provided plenty of scoring punch for the Indians with 16 points, while Erin Bohmueller added 12. Teya McConnaha came through with 8 rebounds and 2 blocks for Souderton.

Methacton 74, Upper Merion 19 >> The Warriors raced out to a 29-0 lead after one quarter and coasted to the PAC win on Friday night. Nicole Timko led the way for the Warriors with 22 points and now has 1,483 career points, trailing only Renee Womack for the school record who scored 1,682 points. Cassidy Kropp also chipped in with 17 for Methacton (13-1, 9-0). Upper Merion (3-10, 3-5) was led by Devon Maiden with 8 points.

Central Bucks West 51, Truman 13 >> Emily Spratt led a balanced attack with 10 points and 7 rebounds as the Bucks (12-2) picked up the SOL crossover win on Friday.

Abington 73, Tennent 36 >> The Ghosts rolled to another win on Friday night, improving to 13-1 on the season. Cire Worley paced the offense with 22 points, while Abril Bowser added 16.

Germantown Academy 60, Penn Charter 54 >> The Patriots used a big second half to knock off PC on Friday night. Gabby Bowes led GA to the Inter-AC win with 26 points, including five 3-pointers. Isabella Casey also came through with 10 points for the Patriots.

Boys Basketball

Archbishop Wood 71, Father Judge 59 >> A balanced attack from the Vikings handed them the PCL victory on Friday. Justin Moore led the offense for Wood with 14 points, while Josh Reed added 13. Bahsil Lester and Carson Howard each chipped in with 11.

Penn Charter 57, Germantown Academy 51 >> The Patriots were outscored in every quarter and dropped the Inter-AC contest on Friday. Blake Smith paced GA with 16 points.

Bensalem 65, Pennridge 37 >> The Rams trailed by just 3 points at the half before Bensalem pulled away in a SOL crossover contest on Friday night. Tommy Cramer scored 11 points to pace a balanced Pennridge attack, while Justin McCormick added 9.

Methacton 31, Spring-Ford 28 >> The Warriors (15-0) survived the Rams in a defensive slugfest on Friday night. Colin Meyer hit a late 3-pointer ot give the Warriors the lead with less than a minute to go. Cole Hargrove led the Warriors with 8 points.

Springfield-Montco 53, Hatboro-Horsham 40 >> The Spartans scored 17 points in the fourth quarter and pulled away from the Hatters on Friday night. Dylan McKenzie paced Springfield with 17 points, while Ben Cooney added 16 points and 6 rebounds.

Boys Bowling

Jenkintown 3, Dock Mennonite 1 >> Zeke Longacre paced the Pioneers with games of 160 and 157, while Jenkintown’s James Martin led the Drakes with games of 155 and 189.

Girls Bowling

Dock Mennonite 3.5, Jenkintown 0.5 >> Maggie Dowell led the Pioneers with games of 164 and 188, while Jenkintown’s Samantha Zazulak rolled a 166 to pace the Drakes.

Wrestling

Pennridge 58, Central Bucks South 5 >> The Rams improved to 9-3 on the season with a dominant performance on Friday, which saw them lose just one bout. The Rams started the match off with wins by fall from Talan Hogan at 160, Ryan Gallagher at 172, Riley Cullen at 189 and Xavier Dantzler at 215. Also winning by fall for Pennridge in the match were Cole Coffin at 113, Jesse Rose at 126 and Gio Iadonisi at 145.
