GIRLS BASKETBALL

Pottstown 39, Cheltenham 33

Highlights: The Trojans finished off a three-game-in-three-days stretch with a second straight win on Saturday. Trinell Watson scored 23 points and added 10 rebounds and six assists.

Tamya Jarrett tallied nine points, knocking down a pair of threes, and tallied 12 rebounds and four blocks. She took a clutch charge in the fourth. Brynn McClune sparked Pottstown with three first-quarter points as they jumped out to an 8-4 lead.

Highlights: Jennifer Beattie’s sharpshooting and an overall strong defensive performance guided the Vikings to a non-league win Saturday.

Beattie scored 20 points, knocking down six 3-point shots, and Emma Miley (13) and Grace Miley (11) also reached double figures.

Highlights: Avery White and Gabbi Koury led the way with 18 points apiece as the Wildcats jumped out to a 24-6 first-quarter lead and never looked back in Saturday’s non-league win.

Highlights: Aaliyah Freeman was the bright spot for the Falcons in Saturday’s non-league game with Penncrest.

Freeman was Pottsgrove’s leading scorer with nine points. They all came off shots from 3-point range, the Falcons’ total long-distance baskets.

Highlights: The Phantoms had nine different scorers in Saturday’s PAC Crossover win. Gabe Masseburg led the way with 13 followed by Zavier Mayo’s 12.

Highlights: Despite a trio of double-figure scorers, the Falcons fell in Saturday’s non-league contest.

Nadhir Ward scored 18, Gabe Rinda scored 11 and J.R. McMenamin had 10 in the loss.

Highlights: The Trojans took control in the second half to beat the Blazers Saturday.

Rashean Bostic and Sadeeq Jackson both scored 16 points for Pottstown. Mason Scarcello led Daniel Boone with 17 points.

Highlights: The Blues (8-7, 1-1 MAPL, 6-0 PAISAA) got a game-high 18 points, all in the first half, from Ethan Meuser to stake an insurmountable 51-21 halftime lead, and never looked back in Saturday’s Mid-Atlantic Prep League victory.

Anthony Wise dropped 11 of his 13 points in the opening half, and Jacob Meachem sparked Hill with some great steals, assists and a career-high 11 points.
