
Aubrey Ennis did a little of everything on the basketball court Monday.
The senior guard scored a game-high 18 points along with eight assists, seven rebounds and six steals in Upper Darby’s 48-29 nonleague win over Academy Park.
Alliyah Jean-Baptiste returned from injury to contribute eight points, 11 rebounds and four steals. The Royals held a 19-7 lead after eight minutes and took a commanding 31-12 lead into halftime.
Jada Kinlaw led the way for the Knights with nine points.
Ridley 46, Interboro 13 >> Peyton Berger scored 10 points for the Green Raiders, who held a 31-8 lead at intermission. Kyla Carney and Kailyn Bell pitched in with eight points each.
Boys Basketball
Mike Hoey scored 10 points and dished out seven assists to help Springfield earn a 47-38 win over Chichester.
Andrew Gould netted six of his nine points on putbacks for the Cougars, who pulled away from the Eagles thanks to a 17-4 run in the third quarter.
For Chichester, Ahkir Keys scored eight of his team-high 11 points in the second quarter.
Boys Swimming
Josh and Jeffrey Travers were the stars in Bonner-Prendergast’s 78-71 victory over Cardinal O’Hara.
Josh was victorious in the 50 free and butterfly events, while Jeffrey took first in the 100 free and backstroke. The Travers also competed in the Friars’ winning 200 medley and 400 free relays to cap off their quadruple-winning performances.
Leading the way for O’Hara was Henry Schueren, who anchored the winning 200 free relay and placed first in the breaststroke.
Girls Swimming
Madison Gibson was on top of her game in O’Hara’s rivalry meet against Bonner-Prendie.
The junior took first place in the 200 and 100 freestyles, as well as the medley and 200 freestyle relays, as the Lions coasted to a 107-64 win.
Anastasia Ciminera was a member of both relay wins and bested the competition in the 50 free.
Grace O’Brien (individual medley, 500 free, 400 free relay) was a triple winner for the Pandas.
