Highlights: Sophomore Aubrey Beaugard opened the scoring for the Warriors on a direct kick from about 30 yards out in the 20th minute. Mia Chan, also a sophomore, scored from in close in the 25th minute from a Cam Margiotti cross. Beaugard tallied again in the 26th minute from senior Kirsten O’Brien’s feed. O’Brien finished the scoring in the 42nd minute, after getting on the end of a through ball from senior Sarah Kenwood. Juniors Mairi Smith and Riley McDonald combined for 2 saves to preserve the shutout.

Germantown Friends 6, Perkiomen School 1

Highlights: A five-goal first half fueled GFS to the win. Cece Vassallo allowed Perkiomen to avoid the shutout in the second half.

Highlights: Nicole Thompson had a hand in all three Phantom goals with a goal and two assists in the a PAC Frontier win Friday.

Highlights: Spring-Ford swept Norristown 25-9, 25-7, 25-4 on Friday. Statistical leaders were sophomore Dannica Fuller (12 assists, 12 aces, 5 digs), junior Sara Fritzinger (10 kills), junior Jordan Vukson (7 digs, 3 aces) and freshman Lauren Angelucci (5 kills).

Boyertown 3, Methacton 1

Highlights: The Bears won in four sets, 25-12, 25-19, 20-25, 25-16, thanks in large part to the 30-kill performance of Adrianna Derstine. Boyertown also got 27 assists from Grace Reinheimer and seven digs from Emma Smith. Methacton was led by Mel Eglinton with 10 kills.

Upper Merion 3, Pottsgrove 0

Highlights: Upper Merion raised its record to 3-0 by sweeping Pottsgrove, 25-16, 25-14, 25-9. For UM, freshman Sophia Schweikert had 18 kills while junior Julia Giammarco added 12. Senior Vanessa Hutchinson keyed the defense with 20 digs while freshman Raven Albrecht had a career high 8 digs to go with her 5 aces. Junior setter Caitlyn Daywalt ran the offense efficiently with her 28 assists.

Pope John Paul II 3, Owen J Roberts 0

Highlights: The Golden Panthers swept 25-11, 25-12, 25-16 in a PAC match Friday. PJP leaders were Hutton Cordrey (4 kills, 8 service points, 9 digs), Cathleen McKendry (5 kills), Natalie Ricevuto (9 kills), Erin Dychdala (22 Assts and 8 service points) and Grace Cooper (10 digs).
