Mercury Girls Lacrosse Roundup (April 30): Spring-Ford, OJR pick up Liberty wins

Spring-Ford 13, Boyertown 9 >> Alyssa Mozi grabbed a share of game scoring honors Friday, her four-goal night key to the Rams topping the Bears in PAC Liberty Division play.

Behind Mozi, Spring-Ford got hat tricks from Brenna Whiteside and Mac Maloney as it bolted to a 9-4 lead in the first half. Delaney Fox gave Boyertown the other four-goal performance while Allie Schell and Jordan Woodring each added pairs of goals.

Owen J. Roberts 11, Methacton 0 >> With Gabbi Koury figuring on seven of their goals Friday, the Wildcats rolled over the Warriors in PAC Liberty Division action.

Koury had a game-high six goals with one assist. Alexa Vogelman (one assist) added another four goals while Gracyn Smith (one assist) completed the OJR scoring.

Korrigan Smith needed to make only four stops in goal to record the shutout. Mackenzie Clark saved 21 shots for Methacton.
