ROUNDUP: Penn Wood’s Washington takes home two wins in Del Val meet

Thrower Bryan Washington won two events to pace Penn Wood to four wins in the Del Val meet at Chichester.

The junior captured the shot put and discus as the Patriots topped Academy Park (76-52), Penn Wood (54-25), Chichester (90-33) and Interboro (78-62). Senior Desmond Randall won the javelin, Langston Richardson topped the field in the 800 and Kaleb Myrick was first in the 3,200. Penn Wood also won the 4 x 800.

Isiah Fusaro leaped 6-4 to take the high jump and lift Interboro to wins over Academy Park (88-52), Chester (100-40) and Chichester (104-36). Jake Hubis (1,600) and Eban Affainie (110 hurdles) also were individual winners for the Bucs.

Eric Willis sprinted to gold in the 100 as Academy Park topped Chester (42-34) and Chichester (49-42). The Knights also won the 4 x 100.

Marquies Fields was first in the 200 and 300 hurdles for Chichester, which defeated Chester, 42-41. Xander Squire captured the triple jump for the Eagles.

Chester had two individual winners in Walton Garnett (400) and Mekhi Harrison (long jump). The Clippers also won the 4 x 400 relay.
