Hill sweeps Kiski >> The Blues sent the Class of 2021 off their home court in style with two wins over Kiski Prep on Saturday.

Evin Timochenko combined for 27 points in the two games, scoring 11 in an 80-68 victory in the opener and posting a team-high 16 points in a 65-41 win in Game 2.

Gabe Moss (16), Gabe Dorsey (14) and Rap Buivydas (13) joined Timochenko in double figures in Game 1 while Paul Henson added a huge lift with a pair of threes and charges taken. Trey Hicks chipped in a nine-point, nine-rebound performance in Game 1.

Josh Cameron (11) and Oliver Hutchinson (9) followed Timochenko in scoring for Game 2.

Boyertown 56, Spring-ford 45 >> A quartet of double-figure scorers guided the Bears to Saturday’s PAC Liberty win over the Rams.

Griffin Hummel (14), Christian Renninger (12), David Leh (10) and Aarick Salata (10) all reached double digits for Boyertown, which trailed 34-33 at the end of the third quarter before outscoring Spring-Ford 23-11 in the fourth.

Zack Skrocki scored a game-high 18 points for Spring-Ford with Gavin Schauder adding nine.


Perkiomen Valley 59, Owen J. Roberts 43 >> Ethan Kohler’s 18 points led the Vikings to victory over the Wildcats in Saturday’s PAC Liberty Division matchup.

Tyler Lapetina added 10 to help PV build 41-29 lead after three quarters. Jake Bolyn had game-high 21 points for the Cats while Sam Cerimele added 10.


Upper Merion 51, Upper Perkiomen 33 >> Collin Bowman’s game-high 18 points paced the Vikings in Saturday’s PAC Frontier win over the Indians.

Ty Jones added nine and Madison Tatom eight for Upper Merion, which has now won seven straight games. Jack Cuppitt had nine and Nick Aron had eight for UP.

Perkiomen Valley 38, Owen J. Roberts 33 >> Perk Valley avenged a 14-point loss to Owen J. Roberts in January in order to keep their PIAA District 1 playoff hopes alive Saturday.

Perk Valley held PAC leading scorer Avery White to 13 points and Gabby Koury added 10 points as OJR (2-5, 6-6) fought a valiant effort in the second half to overcome the Vikings (2-4, 6-5), who led 22-11 at the break.

Perkiomen Valley’s Jen Beattie was leading scorer with 15 points (three 3-point goals) and Ella Stein added 8 points toward the victory.


Spring-Ford 51, Central Dauphin 35 >> Undefeated Spring-Ford ran its record to 15-0 with a non-league win over District 3-6A No. 2 ranked Central Dauphin Saturday. Lucy Olsen led S-F with 23 points while Emily Tiffan added nine. The Rams maintained a near-double digit lead throughout and pulled away late by only allowing CD 2 points in the fourth.


Methacton 62, Penn Wood 33 >> The Warriors ran out to a 45-17 halftime lead and rolled to a non-league win over Penn Wood. Nicole Timko hit for 26 points while Mairi Smith just missed a double-double with 9 points and 15 rebounds. Alli Hazlett scored 10 for Methacton (10-2).


Girls Swimming

Owen J. Roberts 94.5, Boyertown 74.5 >> Elianna Crew and was a four-event winner for the Wildcats in Saturday’s PAC win over the Bears.

Crew won the 50 free (24.58) and 100 free (53.67) also swimming to wins in the 200 medley and 200 free relays.

Gabby McKee won the 200 and 500 free for Boyertown. McKee’s 1:53.31 in the 200 free was a pool record.

200 medley relay: Owen J. Roberts (Zelinske, Obara, Spencer, Crew), 1:51.22.

200 free: Gabby McKee (Bt), 1:53.31. 

200 IM: Emery Horn (OJR), 2:20.10.

50 free: Eliana Crew (OJR), 24.58.

100 free: Elianna Crew (OJR), 53.67

500 free: Gabby McKee (Bt), 5:08.24.

200 free relay: Owen J. Roberts (Horn, Zelinske, Spencer, Crew), 1:39.89.

Owen J. Roberts 97, Boyertown 69 >> OJR’s 200 medley relay of Dalton Fink, Joe Feiser, Will Cano and Nathan VanNatter swam a pool record 1:38.14 in the Wildcats’ PAC win over the Bears on Saturday.

Mark Flewelling was a multi-even winner for OJR, winning the 100 fly (56.07) and 100 back (1:00.20). Conner Stoudt (100 breast) and Harry Tye (500 free) were individual winners for Boyertown.
