Phoenixville 103, Methacton 82 >> Phoenixville’s Erini Pappas was a dual-event winner and helped the Phantoms to two relay wins in Thursday’s PAC victory.
Pappas won the 100 free and 100 back and helped the Phantoms to victory in the 200 medley and 200 free relays. Also winning races for the Phantoms were Sarah Ritter (50 free), Kenzie Padilla (100 fly), Penelope Pappas (100 free) and Sarah McCarthy (100 breast).
Madison Wimmer won both the 200 free and 500 free for Methacton and helped the Warriors to a win in the 400 free relay. Warriors’ Meaghan Drumm was the top diver with a score of 188.90.
Owen J. Roberts 92, Pottsgrove 72 >> The Wildcats had seven different event winners in Thursday’s PAC victory.
Emery Horn had the best time in the 200 free and 100 breast, while Mackenzie Gorman (200 IM), Natalie Spencer (50 free), Olivia Kqira (diving), Kendall Obara (100 fly), Lauren Zelinske (100 free) and Kaily Zakarevicz (500 free) also won events.
Bayley Richard won the 100 back for Pottsgrove.
Boys swimming
Owen J. Roberts 78, Pottsgrove 45 >> In Thursday’s PAC win, Will Cano, Nathan VanNatter, Jonah Kasznay and Dalton Fink won individual races and helped the Wildcats to top times in the 200 free and 400 free relays.
VanNatter (200 free), Kasznay (200 IM), Cano (50 free), Fink (100 fly), Tristan Olson (diving), Patrick Bowker (500 free), Roberto Vidal (100 back) and Joe Feiser (100 breast) won individual events for OJR. Fesier and Bowker also helped for a victory in the 200 medley relay.
Pottsgrove’s Declan Keener helped the Falcons to a win, swimming the top tiem in the 100 free.
Methacton 107, Phoenixville 70 >> Warriors’ Christopher Groff and Tommy Gibbs took part in two individual win and helped Methacton to victory in the 200 medley and 200 free relays, Thursday in a PAC meet.
Groff swam to victory in the 50 free and 100 back, while Gibbs won the 200 IM and 100 fly. Jan Perez Bonilla (200 free) and Dylan Phan (100 breast) also picked up wins for Methacton.
Leo Edmonds-Doberenz (diving), George Pappas (100 free) and Jack Hussin (500 free) won for Phoenixville.
Boys bowling
Gov. Mifflin 3, Spring-Ford 1 >> The Rams opened their season Thursday with a loss to the Mustangs.
Mason Doan had a high series of 684, with a 279 game. Coleman Rogers finish second on the team with a 562 and a high game of 192, and Eduardo Vargas added a 483 series.
Girls bowling
Gov. Mifflin 4, Spring-Ford 0 >> Jessica Pan was the bright spot for the Rams as they opened play Thursday with a loss to the Mustangs.
Pan had the high series for the Rams with a 305, bolstered by 111 and 114 games. Katie McCreary followed with a 256, and Lauren Buckley rolled a 120 game to lead Spring-Ford.
