Owen J. Roberts 97, Phoenixville 80 >> Lauren Zelinske figured in on four first-place finishes in helping the Wildcats handle the Phantoms in Tuesday’s PAC meet.
Zelinske won the 50 free (25.42) and 500 free (5:22.04) while swimming legs of Owen J’s winning 200 medley (1:53.02) and 200 free (1:42.64) relays. Phoenixville got a pair of individual firsts from Erini Pappas in the 200 IM (2:09.79) and 100 fly (58.30).
Spring-Ford 98, Norristown 52 >> Ashley Gutshall and Chloe Rouyer combined to provide the Rams three first-place finishes in Tuesday’s PAC meet with the Eagles.
Gutshall (200 IM, 2:27.03) and Rouyer (500 free, 6:28.92) also swam legs on Spring-Ford’s winning 20 medley relay (2:09.80). Olivia Parks was a two-event winner for Norristown, heading the 50 free (27.65) and 100 breast (1:16.84).
Daniel Boone splits >> The Blazers broke even in Tuesday’s three-school Berks Conference meet with Wilson and Twin Valley. Boone lost to the Bulldogs 161-21 but outswam the Raiders 108-36.
Owen J. Roberts 95, Phoenixville 85 >> Dalton Fink won two individual races Tuesday to help the Wildcats outswim the Phantoms in their PAC meet.
Fink’s firsts came in the 100 fly (51.05) and 100 back (52.29); he also swam the lead leg of Roberts’ winning 200 medley relay (1:42.09). For Phoenixville, Jack Hussin was first in the 200 free (1:44.99) and 500 free (4:54.39) while swimming legs of its first-place 200 free (1:33.67) and 400 free (3:43.42) relays.
Spring-Ford 97, Norristown 54 >> Cameron Wilson won two individual events to help the Rams dominate the Eagles in Tuesday’s PAC meet.
Wilson headed the 200 free (2:01.09) and 100 back (1:04.60) for Spring-Ford. Norristown got two-win showings from Alex Waskiewicz in the 200 IM (2:18.61) and 100 breast (1:08.20), and Devon Carpenter in the 50 free (23.52) and 100 fly (59.43).
Daniel Boone breaks even >> The Blazers went 1-1 in Tuesday’s three-school Berks Conference meet with Wilson and Twin Valley. Boone fell to the Bulldogs 114-66 but handled the Raiders 115-28.
Chris Guiliano and Jacob Santos won individual events for the Blazers. Guiliano headed the 200 IM (1:57.78) and the 100 free (46.90), while Santos took the 100 back (58.60); Guiliano also swam the anchor leg of Boone’s winning 400 free relay (3;26.05).
