There was no stopping Ellie Mueller Saturday.
Mueller went off for 29 points to go with eight rebounds as Radnor topped Penn Wood, 61-49, in a nonleague game.
Brienne Williams added 18 points, five rebounds and four assists for the Raiders, who led by 18 at the half and by as many as 30.
LaShonda Smith paced Penn Wood with 18 points. Ashley Cyrus added 11 pts, and Raquel Curry was near a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.
In other nonleague action:
Notre Dame 51, Lawrenceville 44 >> Maeve McErlane hit four 3-pointers and tallied a game-high 23 points as the Irish rallied from a halftime deficit by outscoring Lawrenceville, 26-15, in the second half. Allie Lynch added 10 points.
Archbishop Carroll 63, Cape Henlopen 28 >> Erin Sweeney tallied 23 points as the Patriots used a 19-4 edge in the second quarter to break open the game. Taylor Wilson and Maggie Grant scored 12 points each, Wilson added six rebounds.
Cardinal O’Hara 57, Perkiomen Valley 39 >> Sam Randazzo and Amaris Baker scored 11 points each, and a 13-3 edge in the second quarter propelled the Lions to a comfortable win. Sydni Scott, Siobhan Boylan and Maggie Doogan scored eight points apiece.
At the Media Tip-Off:
Penncrest 42, Academy Park 36 >> Bridget Dawson was 8-for-9 from the line and finished with 18 points as the Lions (2-0) won. Ashley Rogers added 15 points. Gabrielle Jackson led AP with eight points, and Jada Kinlaw chipped in seven.
Strath Haven 45, Sun Valley 25 >> Danielle McNeely scored 15 points, and Faith Raymond added 11 as the Panthers pulled away late.
Maya Morris led Sun Valley (0-2) with seven points. Alecia Whitfield added six.
At the Methacton Tip-Off:
Methacton 53, Ridley 40 >> Dakota McCaughan scored 13 points and Shannen Hinchey added 12 in the Green Raiders’ loss.
At the Lower Merion Tournament:
Lower Moreland 57, Chester 30 >> Quanisha Hagwood scored 18 points and grabbed 20 rebounds, and Sam Fearington paired five points with nine rebounds and six assists for the Clippers (0-2).
At the Abington Tip-Off:
Bethlehem Catholic 64, Springfield 50 >> Alex Abbonizio went off for 29 points, including five 3-pointers, but it wasn’t enough for the Cougars. Alyssa Long added 10 points.
At the Pottsgrove Tip-Off:
Pottsgrove 48, Upper Darby 35 >> Jasmine Forrester registered a game-high 15 points, and Fara Sullivan chipped in eight, but the Royals (0-2) couldn’t overcome a slow start that yielded just 10 first-half points.
At the Delco Christian Tip-Off:
Atlantic Christian 67, Delco Christian 22 >> Sahdahya Addy led the Knights with six points, and Caitlyn Goneau added five points to land on the all-tournament team, but the Knights (1-1) fell.
At the Chester Charter Tip-Off:
Chester Charter Scholars Academy 47, Collegium Charter 21 >> Freshman Brianna Miller scored 16 points, and Keymbrah Blackwell added 14 as the Sabers won the championship game. D’Ayzha Atkinson added 10 points and eight boards.
At the Interboro Tip-Off:
Interboro 37, Mastery Charter Hardy Williams 34 >> Maddie Diehl came off the bench to supply 13 points as the Bucs overcame an eight-point halftime deficit.
