Hannah Landis made four saves for Upper Perk to record her 10th shutout of the season. Phoenixville’s Ella Stout saved eight shots in the loss.
Upper Perk (6-3 Frontier, 8-4 PAC, 12-5 overall) joins Frontier Division winner Pottsgrove (9-0, 10-2), Boyertown (8-1, 11-1) and Spring-Ford (7-2, 10-2) in the league semifinals, which will be held Tuesday, Oct. 15 at Owen J. Roberts.
Methacton 6, Norristown 0 >> Liv Navarrete and Danielle Hollidge scored for the first time in their varsity career as the Warriors cruised to a PAC Liberty win Monday.
Kate Evans led Methacton with two goals and added an assist. Ruby Murray and Anna Jacobs (PK) also scored. Navarrete and Madia Mazzucola had assists.
Norristown goalkeeper Aaliyah Walk-Benitez made 12 saves, including two breakaways.
Pottsgrove 2, Upper Merion 0 >> Haley Strain and Avery Makoid scored two goals in the Falcons’ PAC Frontier victory Monday.
The Pottsgrove defense kept the pressure off goalkeeper Summer Walker, who needed to make just one save for the shutout.
Pope John Paul II 8, Pottstown 4 >> Lainey Owens and Julia Hull each netted a pair of goals in the Golden Panthers’ PAC Frontier win Monday.
Sophia Hinke, Lauryn Rezza (two assists), Amaya Ransom and Audrey Moroz also scored. PJP’s Stacy Kormos made 10 saves in goal.
Goal scorers for Pottstown were Calista Daye, Aniya Hoskins and Emme Wolfel on a penalty kick. Wolfel made 15 saves in goal.
Boyertown 4, Perkiomen Valley 1 >> Camilla Kuever carried the scoring load for the Bears Monday in a PAC Liberty win over the Vikings.
Kuever struck for all four Boyertown goals, getting a couple assists from Samantha Devlin and another from Mikayla Moyer.
PV’s goal came on a penalty kick from Maddie Zielke. Riley Hill had eight saves in goal.
Perkiomen School 1, George School 0 >> Cece Vassallo’s top shelf shot in the second half was enough for the Panthers to win over George School Monday. Abbey Glavin earned the shutout with 10-save goalkeeping.
